We love this place! We used to be regulars here but moved out of state! When we come back to visit it is always on our must visit places! The food is great they have items on the menu no one else has! The service is always great and the people are very friendly! I Know just like any good places there is sometimes a wait but usually not to bad and well worth it! I Highly recommend Kotobuki!

Ordered Kotobuki tonight! It’s raining out, ordered Uber. This place is always busy, dine in or take out. This is my go to spot if I want to eat sushi and only want the raw stuff. It’s so good over here. I forget sometimes how good they are. The packaging is simple not like the other fancy places. They spend their money on the food! The quality is really good! You get what you paid for over here! The ginger was so good compare to the other places. This is fresh ginger, hints of sweet and spicy to it. I loved the ginger, it was nice big pieces and crispy. The wasbi was good too not so spicy!! The sashimi were nice chunks compared to some other places that give you very thin slices. They don’t mess around when it comes to the food! This place doesn’t have fancy chopsticks and packaging. This place has the best quality of fish in Long Island!

Had a horrible experience. Waiter/kitchen got 2 items from our order entirely wrong and we complained, sending them back. The waiter proceeded to blame us that we made the mistake, took the items back, and then was rude the entire rest of the meal. He refused to say anything to us the rest of the evening despite being courteous to the tables around us , slammed things down on our table, and then as we left the restaurant, confronted and argued with us in the parking lot about why we tipped less than 20%. He told us he “hoped we never came back.” Absolutely unbelievable. Have never had worse service in my life.

Excellent meal. From the soup to the cheese cake. You have to try the sushi pizza. Never had anything like it. #1 Tuna and avocado salad. Worth the wait! And you have to pair it with their plum wine. Completes the experience!

Worst sushi ever. This is called “spicy girl” and The sushi rice along with all ingredients were so mushy, felt like eating baby food. We waited one hour for our california roll and this roll… and by the time these came out, my friend was alreewdy done with his hot food dinner. The rice was very very bad….. very very disappointing.

This was the second time trying to pick up an order for a recipient for Uber Eats and the last time I accept an order from here. I don’t understand why they have the option to have delivery drivers pick up orders when the orders are NEVER READY. Excessive wait times for the drivers and the recipients get impatient waiting for us to drop off it off! This place is so unorganized, and certainly can care less about the drivers waiting over a half hour or more. This is a restaurant that should not have the accessibility to have Uber Eats/DoorDash/Grubhub. I hope this place shuts down.
