The kids really enjoyed the hibachi chef. He was very entertaining. I think they really liked the beating heart made of rice and the volcano. Starting to come back. The food was also very good.

We’re in town for an American Legion convention and decided to try Koto’s. We made a reservation just to be safe. The room filled up pretty quickly, so we’re glad to have called. We weren’t disappointed, the server was very pleasant and got our drinks very quickly and came back often enough to make sure we weren’t dry. The chef was pretty good not as showy as some other Japanese steak houses but good The food was prepared right in front of us as is the norm for these restaurants. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the price was reasonable. I would recommend you try them out. Cheers.

Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had on February 15,2026. We have been going there since my kids were babies they are now 17/19. This use to be our go to place not anymore. We were sat at 5:20waited 30/40 min before getting drinks or sushi we ordered we never left until 7:30. The other party that was with us waited for his beer for over 40 min and then to get refills he had to go to the bar to get them himself. The steak had no seasoning no sauce the chicken was over cooked to the point we didn’t eat it because it was hard, salmon was burnt on one side and dry, the scallops burnt on one side and chewy. The sushi was great. The cook at the hibachi was in such a rush half of my kid’s noodles ended up on the table. Spoke to manager and his remark to us was well the waiter is handicapped and that’s fine but the attitude from said waiter was not necessary handicapped or not especially when asked for our drinks to be refilled. Then manager say well what do you want me to do about it with an attitude. Not impressed at all we will be going to a different hibachi and will never return to Kotos again!!! That is how the issue will be solved.

We went for a birthday party, so there were about 10 of us. The meal was prepared on the open fire grill. It was fast, friendly, delicious and there was a wide variety that everyone ordered, from the house rice, lobster, chicken, steak, the food was cooked exactly as we ordered and drinks were fast and friendly. I also had a piece peanut butter cheesecake and it was delicious! The bill was not horrible and less than what i was expecting. I definitely would recommend the Koto Japanese Sreakhouse.

We got there at 530, ordered drinks. Shortly after we ordered food and received our soup and salad. 90 minutes later after watching new people show up and eat we asked our waitress when we would get our food. She came back from kitchen and notified us that she forgot to actually enter our order. We left 3 hours later. This has never happened before but next time I go if that waitress shows up I will get up and leave. I would love to be contacted by manager.

The food is usually good, and this time it was, but the service and atmosphere was absolutely terrible. We were “greeted” if you can even say that, by a woman who didn’t even say a word to us, and when being brought to our table, she threw down our menus and walked away. At the end of our meal when it came to leave, our waitress stood at our table and said with an extremely rude tone “so no tip?”. Mind you, I am not in the current space to tip, and I used a gift card to pay. So the struggle is already real. So I gave her what I had in cash because I felt uncomfortable. Never coming here again after today.

Frequently stop here because of the supercharger across the street… Food is delicious, chefs and staff are awesome. Steak tastes great. Highly recommend stopping here, especially if taking an EV road trip (Much better food than the Brattleboro supercharger area)

The place was packed and they still got us in quickly and got our food quickly. We choose the table instead of the hibachi grill seating. If you order the chicken teriyaki from the menu, get the from the kitchen option and not the standard hibachi option. It comes out on a sizzling plate. It was absolutely great. My fiance had the Philadelphia Roll, and the Fantastic roll. Both was great. Highly recommend this place

The hibachi stations are absolutely awesome! The chefs are great at what they do skills wise and their ability to entertain as they craft delicious meals is a special experience! Wheather a local or visiting the area, kotos is a must time and time again!
