Bland and very non impressive food We had great expectations based on 4.7 reviews. Disappointed with the entrees. Channa Masala watery and just boiled garbanzo beans. Butter chicken just chunks of chicken breast in half and half. Avocado Chat lumby avocado in stale pani puri. Saving grace was Veg Manchurian. Methi lamb had no methi and in spite of requesting Indian Spice HOT it was bland. Naaans were fresh and good.

Visited for dinner last night…we were 4 adults and we ordered 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 3 naans. Excellent tasting food, great service for a good price of $60. We loved the taste of Methi Paneer and Lacha Paneer and naans were made well too. I love how you can customize and select your own curry & protein…we are vegetarian so that meant a greater selection of entrees to choose from. Highly recommend!

Gurus is literally the best Indian restaurant. Owned by Priya ji and Guru ji who are the most caring restaurant owners. They will sit next to you on the ground when you order and take you through the process no matter how many times youve ordered Indian food. They are able to make modifications to everything. This is the first place where I had malai kofta which usually always made with cashews. However, they use such fresh ingredients they are able to change the recipes for those with allergies. My dad is Vegan and Gluten free via allergy and they have gluten free roti and can make most of the menu vegan and gluten free. And the best part is that even if they might not be able to make the modification, they are the type to make a brand new recipe for you. I used to take all my friends that had never tried Indian food to this restaurant and they still go to this day with their families. (30 mins away) Sadly I went away to college so Indian food there is terrible but every weekend I visit home I make sure I order from gurus. ALLERGY FRIENDLY just to reiterate. I hope everyone in the bucks county area in PA and Mercer County area in NJ is able to go and get some food since it’s so nearby. Service is always impeccable and even if they are takeout for now I pray to eat with them dining in. For those who are leaving negative comments on the food and the service, have some patience, this family works extremely hard and loves the community. And the community loves them right back

Guru’s is a great restaurant. I was here with a group of 18 people including kids. Usually not all restaurants accept this big groups. They were kind enough to accept same day booking.
The food was great. We tried Paneer tikka (delicious), Vegetarian sampler (ordered 3 and they missed 1) and Gobi manchurian (was a little sweet). They all tasted good. For main course we tried Methi Paneer (5/5), Dal tadka, Paneer Makhni, and Malai Kofta. We also ordered bread basket. Chilli garlic naan was amazing. Everything tasted good.

The service was not upto the mark. The waiters who were serving joined the same day and didn’t know what food they were serving. They had to call chef and it was confusing for a while. But hey we were cool with that. Just wish they had more help that day.

Coming to drinks, they tasted average. The server was making the drinks while serving everyone. So wouldn’t complain on that.

I would love to come back again with a smaller group to try other menu items and review them again.

We had a rather large pickup order, and everything was ready right on time for our pickup. We were greeted by someone at the desk, who helped us get our order. We were then welcomed by the owner, making it a very personal experience. Everything we order was delicious, even after driving back home. My favorite was the Chana Masala. Overall, a great experience.

Went here expecting to have lunch, but it turned out there was no wait staff. I’d had Guru’s via DoorDash once, so was really interested in eating in the restaurant.

Offered to sit at the bar, which the owner was kind enough to agree upon. Not to discredit DoorDash, but the food was absolutely amazing right out of the kitchen. I liked it as take out, but this was significantly better.

I had Tikka Masala with lamb and Kashmiri Naan. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys lamb. The Tikka Masala is also wonderful with chicken.

Special shout out to the owner who was working essentially alone and let me indulge in eating at the bar. I am a big proponent of supporting local/small business and this place did not disappoint.

A great local Indian restaurant with absolutely exceptional service. The owner occasional circulates actively & honestly seeking feedback. Dishes are excitedly prepared and served with exactly the level of spice requested. Ask your server for help or suggestions and you’ll get good guidance.

We went there for dinner, we ordered chicken seekh kebab and lasooni gobi in appetizers. Taste of chicken seekh kebab was fine but they were stretchy and lasooni gobi was like gobi manchurian only. In entree we had, dhaba chicken and dal tadka, dhaba chicken was good but dal tadka was nothing like dal tadka and average in taste. Rice which came with entree were rubbery, not good quality. Also, we ordered Indian salad which had onion and green chillies and they were not fresh. Chillies were turning yellow. Their service was good and place is nice. Overall, I would not recommend this place as I believe food is not worth it.

Service and food were awesome. They have different spice levels, so it is no problem if you don’t like spicy food.
It is also a good place to eat, if you have dietary restrictions. There are various vegetarian as well as some vegan options. The menue clearly marks relevant product ingredients for allergics (e.g. milk).
