They are located right next to the new H Mart in Harry Hines and the most traditional or Korean barbecue place I’ve ever been in Dallas

Galbi is one of my favorite food and they have the highest quality of meat and every dishes were amazing. This is the place if my parents visit in the United States I wanna bring them. They’re very luxurious but cozy at the same time. Food and drinks were amazing! I highly recommend this place.

This is the best Korean barbecue place in Dallas. Located right in the center of Little Korea of Dallas. There’s a brand new H Mart right next door. The service is amazing. The food is top-notch. The server’s no all about Korean cuisine. If you can’t find the Korean dish anywhere else in Dallas, you’re gonna be able to find it here.

The go-to thing to order is the barbecue served directly in front of you on the hot coals. They have a ventilation device that pulls down over the flames so that you don’t get any smoke in your face.

Just overall a great experience.

Visited 3/7. Third time visiting. The food quality has gone down. The purple rice that was served had a texture of a couple days old rice, not even heated. When we asked for new rice, texture was better but felt like it was just some microwaved white rice – they said they “ran out of purple rice”. -So I am guessing we were initially served the bottom of rice cooker rice. The stew and the steamed egg tasted like dish soap. Lost appetite from the start. The meat was okay.. the galbi was too fatty and the other unseasoned meat was rubbery. overall not worth the $200 experience. Very disappointing.

Nothing beats cooking meat over actual charcoal for that extra KBBQ flavor. Our server Nathan was great at tending to our table and making sure we had enough ban chan and not overcooked meats. 10/10 highly recommend before the H mart opens and you cant find any parking around the area.

The best KBBQ I’ve had, sample size including NYC & LA. Banchans, service, and meat quality are excellent. Very memorable, will come back

Don’t be fooled by the exterior, Koryo is lovely inside. My Korean mother-in-law wanted to bring me here for my birthday.

It’s classic, delicious, authentic Korean food. Each table has a the traditional grill in the center for cooking your meat. The wait staff can do this for you, so if you’ve never eaten this way, no need to be intimidated! The shared sides that accompany the meat were abundant and delicious. This is a great place for date nights, families, or larger friend groups. There are private dining rooms for larger groups as well. Come hungry and leave more than satisfied.

Coal fire makes it a different type of special. Definitely loved the short rib but not as much the brisket since it wasn’t sliced too thinly. Ended up full after both plates of meat and the banchan

Koryo BBQ absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, the service was flawless—warm, attentive, and perfectly paced.

Our server Brandon was truly exceptional; he went above and beyond to make the night enjoyable. He knew the menu inside and out, gave spot-on recommendations, and his energy made the entire experience even better.

Dinner itself was spectacular—every dish bursting with unbelievable flavor, from the perfectly marinated meats to the fresh, flavorful sides. Each bite exceeded every expectation.

Koryo BBQ isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience, and with service like Brandon’s, it’s one you’ll be talking about long after you leave!

*The door is right under the giant awning through the middle of both sides of the bldg. There is a sign that says Koryo above a door at the front of the bldg that can be confusing but for me that’s a part of the charm. When the food is this fresh it’s a good idea to enjoy every bite- if you know you know!

Verified: they offer live eel!
Don’t let the exterior look judge your choice.

Indoor dine-in is quite spacious and clean.
Well-trained waiters. Fast served budae-jjigae but the taste is average.
Eel is fantastic .

The price is matched and slightly higher than their service and food. But I do recommend .
For tomahawk, see their market price.
