This was my second time to Flinchy’s Restaurant, Bar and Deck in Camp Hill. Pretty cool place with a full bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal with friends and family or a cozy dinner, the ambiance here is just right.

They had a full menu offering a fantastic variety of dishes, my kids are still talking about the Chips-Ahoy. Our server, Ella, made the experience even better. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make great choices.

If you’re in the area, definitely check out Flinchy’s! You won’t be disappointed!

Flinchy’s is a popular spot that definitely sees a lot of business, especially in the evenings. If you come later in the day, be prepared to be packed in with a lot of people — it can get pretty crowded.

The food itself was good, though priced a little on the higher side. The dining experience overall was okay — not bad, but nothing that really stood out either.

We did have a small issue with our server. There were mistakes on our check, and after some back-and-forth, she ended up giving cash back after incorrectly charging our friends’ card. It got sorted out in the end, but it did make the experience a little less smooth than it could have been.

Overall, the food and experience were pretty good. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but if you’re in the area and looking for a place to grab a bite, Flinchy’s is a solid option.

Stopped in to checkout the new deck. We have been here a few years ago and had a really terrible experience, but figured we would give them another try. The new outdoor bar is a really cool setup. Lots of 2 tops and only one 6 top. Good amount of bar seating. Service was great, it was lunchtime so the bartender was responsible for the whole area for a while, but she did a great job. Food was great. Sandwich was very fresh and they allowed me to totally customize it. Coconut shrimp salad was very good as well.

After the unsanitary bar experience this weekend this is no longer one of my favorite restaurants.
I was served wine in a dirty glass (lipstick clear as day on the rim). The waitress was more than willing to bring me a new glass, however I overheard the bartender telling her to simply pour the wine in a clean glass.
Naturally, I refused the second glass of wine – wine from a dirty glass into a clean one is not how this should be handled. When this was brought to the bartenders attention she proceeded to shout “oh my god” and made a big deal of cleaning a third glass with HER SHIRT SLEEVE.
After this we promptly paid for the one drink we received and left. Sad to say they lost loyal clientele and I will no longer be suggesting this as a great place to eat.

Food and service is great. Never had a bad meal here

The fact that they only have ONE bathroom for a very busy place is why I won’t go back. I’ve been here several times. Every time I have to use the bathroom there, I have to wait in line for at least 10 minutes and listen to the Drunk Happy Hour Office Stacies whine to me about the line we’re all standing in. That really kills the mood of the evening (and it was expensive). I’m still annoyed about it.

Wife And I went there twice, it’s phenomenal. Both times were fantastic, first night, we just had appetizers, and a couple of drinks second night, we had a dinner and a couple of drinks conversation was fantastic. Both nights with the waitresses and servers, a very comfortable place to hang out and have drinks and watch fights on sports on TV..

Jeb was an awesome server offering suggestions from the menu. Food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Brussel sprouts were very delicious but I was expecting a little more brisket on the Poutine fries. Would definitely go again.

Flinchy’s was outstanding. We had an event in Camp Hill for work and the boss took the whole crew here. They accommodated our party of 18 very well. I had the NY Strip on the Lava Rock. I regret not taking any pictures. The steak and baked potato were both OUTSTANDING. 10/10 will definitely be back next time we’re up that way

We came in for Valentine’s Day and ordered one of the hot rock meals, which we really enjoyed overall. My concern was with the sides that were included. The menu listed a seasonal vegetable as one of the side options, and I also noticed broccoli was listed as a $5 upcharge, which already seemed unusually high.

When I asked the waiter what the seasonal vegetable was, he told me he could do asparagus, broccoli, or a squash mixture. Based on that response, my girlfriend and I both ordered broccoli, assuming it was being offered as part of the seasonal vegetable options, or that the upcharge might only apply when it wasn’t in season. Unfortunately, when we received the bill, we were both charged the $5 premium side upgrade, adding an extra $10 total.

This was disappointing, not because of the cost alone, but because the charge was never communicated when we ordered. Broccoli is a very simple side, and we would have appreciated being told that it was considered an upgrade before finalizing our choices. It would have been much clearer if the waiter had first stated what the actual seasonal vegetable was and then mentioned that broccoli would include an additional charge.

Flinchy’s Restaurant is located where Theos used to be. The location has served our family for many decades, but we had not eaten in its newest owner. Saturday afternoon we headed inside to a pleasing restaurant. The deck bar, thought quite noisy, didn’t interfere with our experience.

Kelly, our server, was delightfully on top of things. Her suggestion of a hot rock meal proved to be my favorite.

A hot rock is exactly as it sounds. Take a look at the video and give it a try. My sister’s crab cakes were the best she’d ever had. And the burger was good, even though a bit dry.

We will definitely eat there again.
