This place has amazing burgers for happy hour. I always order medium, which can be underdone depending on the cook. The service depends on how busy they are, some servers are better than others. We usually go for happy hour, so that is probably the difference. Definitely recommend!

Love the atmosphere , portions size , prices and music! Especially Uncle Charlie Band and Johnny Shot. Great place to dance . Taco Tuesday is packed. Everyone wants to eat early. Go later . .at the risk of no more Ono…

All was good but jerk playing pool. Brought his dog in. Left it alone. I was petting it. Then he came over yelling at me. Dont touch my dog. Leave him alone. Made a scene. Was embarrassing for me when I was just concerned about the animal.

The taco Tuesday Ono fish tacos were great! There was a lot of fish in each one and a great sauce.. My wife liked the margarita special and the owner was super friendly too. Thanks!

Hole in the wall vibe. Food was good. After lunch decided to play pool while finishing up drinks. 1 star for service. After patiently waiting for the bartender’s attention to ask for a glass of water she simply said go find a server on the floor. Once again after patiently waiting/looking for two servers was told they were too busy with their tables. I’ve worked in the service industry for years and feel it’s wrong of them to refuse us a glass of water after spending 130 dollars plus a generous tip. I won’t be back.

I come here often. The 22 ounce frosty mugs of Coors light for $6 and $5 during happy hour cannot be beat on the island. They also have several local and popular beers. The food is great too. Try the “Meatloaf Monday” special. It’s only $12.95 and is a very large portion of meatloaf, mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes or rice. Served with whole kernal corn. I always eat half and take the rest home for later. The bartenders are always happy and remember your name. The bar has pool tables and quite a few large TVs for sports. A definet go to for Sunday football. They open at 8am and serve brunch until 3pm. They have specials on bloody Marys and memosas. They have outside dinning and local art on display along with sports memorabilia.

A very fine sport bar with great dining options.

The highlight today was the fish taco. 3.5 a piece is a bit pricy but the taste is fabulous.

The burger was very luxuriously made and its price very reasonable.

The onion soup too salty.

The shrimp scampi is a bit too dry and lacks some flavors.

The cocktail is normal, not too impressed.

On second visit
We tried the prime rib and Taco Tuesday.

The 2 dollars taco is a true joy! It is delicious as usual and no longer pricey.

I cannot honestly recommend the prime rib. It is not impressive at all. But you’re mostly paying for the meat anyway.

They improved the patio with bamboo fencing. It cuts off the cool breezes. It makes for a more comfortable dining outside at night. Great happy hour Mai Tais! The bacon half pound cheddar cheese burger with fries was more than enough for the two of us!

It was a wonderful delicious meal. I had the special Thursday pork chop dinner for less than $20. It was a rainy evening and we sat inside. People were watching sports and playing pool and enjoying their meals. For my wife, she enjoyed the large burger, but doesn’t enjoy the restaurant noise. The restaurant is south of the town of Kailua-Kona. Check out the specials for the day and save money while doing it!

Great hidden gem! You can either sit in the bar or out on the patio. Great breeze and it’s quieter. Had the Cobb salad, it was huge and delicious! My husband had the one fish and chips and it was AMAZING! Huge portion and delicious.
