Last time I was here at the Dublin location was prior to the new ownership, but the food was still pretty good! We ordered the bulgogi, vegetable pancake, and spicy pork belly. The bulgogi was not as flavorful as before, however it was far from being dry as other reviewers have mentioned, though marinating and seasoning it more would definitely help make it taste better. The vegetable pancake and spicy pork belly was still very delicious. On top of that, the service was great and our waitress was really kind!

Expensive bland food, still wouldn’t be worth your time if the prices were 25% better. Spicy bulgogi wasn’t spicy and had no sauce? Very dissapointed and will not be coming back for any reason.

I had been to the Fountain location once before COVID and the food was good, but I went recently in December to the Dublin location and was very disappointed. The staff was nice and took good care of us, but the food was not it. I have had a lot of Korean food and this was not on par. The banchan (Korean side dishes) didn’t taste like how they should: the cucumber kimchi was made with hothouse cucumbers instead of Persian and had little to no flavor, the soybean sprouts had no flavor to them, the kimchi seemed like it didn’t have enough time to either ferment or soak in the seasoning when you make non-fermented kimchi, the radish had too much vinegar, and the only side dish that tasted good happened to be the tofu.
We also ordered the 김치전 (kimchi pancake) and I was excited because I love 김치전, but then when it can out I realized that whoever was making it didn’t know how to make it. It was as thick as a western pancake and of course the kimchi was the same from the banchan so I was no longer hopeful. Kimchi pancakes are supposed to be thin and crispy but this was just a thick mass of flour and kimchi. I have done this mistake myself at home too, so I get that. But at a Korean restaurant it’s disappointing.
Onto the main dishes:
I ordered the Ugeogi Galbitang (Cabbage and short ribs in beef and soybean broth)
I have had this dish at many Korean restaurants in both Colorado Springs, Denver/Auroura, and LA. When it arrived at the table I was not to pleased because on the menu it says ‘CABBAGE’ not kimchi…….they put the kimchi in the soup. I was told that it was not spicy……..that wasn’t my issue. Spice is fine but I believed it was just plain cabbage not the kimchi that they have. The soup wouldn’t be red if they used plain cabbage, but it was red indicating they put the kimchi cabbage in the soup. Now the staff was nice enough to get me another of the same soup with no cabbage. Very nice I appreciated that. The soup was the only thing tat tasted good and real.
Cousins got Sundubu Jjigae (Spicy tofu soup with seafood and vegetables) and Dolsot Bibimbob (Rice topped with beef, vegetables, and egg in hot pot)
I didn’t order these myself but I did taste them and when I tell you the Sundubu Jjigae was watery I mean it. It didn’t really have the spice kick that other places have and normally that would be fine but this was because the soup itself was watered down.
Dolsot Bibimbob came in a regular plastic bowl……….need I say more……….if you have had Dolsot Bibimbob before you know that that comes out in a scalding hot stone pot and the dish basically stays hot the entire time you’re eating it. But no this was just your regular serving bowl and it was practically luke warm when it reach the table. Probably would’ve been more pleasant to eat if the bowl was heated to keep the food hot for a little longer.
Overall the food was not a good experience if you’ve had good Korean food before. The servers were nice, but other than that I recommend going somewhere else

The server was pleasant but the cook was absolutely horrendous. We let the server know that the food we were served tasted spoiled, the cook came out and told us that we shouldn’t have ate any of the food that we were just saying it was bad but he knows it’s so good because he’s been cooking for 9 years. We literally had 2 bites of our food and let them know we were not ok with it. Tried to pay for the sodas we had but the cook just kept trying to argue.
Definitely recommend the other location.

I went for lunch. I had been driving past it for several months and finally made the time to stop in. Friendly people and WoW on the food. I had the fried dumplings for an appetizer, the short ribs, and the fancy Ramon plus the side dishes and rice. Tasty!! Large portions, i could not finish it all. Excellent presentation! Can’t wait to try their sister restaurant KO Chicken!!

Went there for dinner a few days ago and various tasty and quality dishes. The staff is amazing and provides good customer service. The soups are very yummy and hot for the winter weather. My personal favorite is the teriyaki chicken and kalbi. Quality in those meats is 10/10!! Will be back very soon!

It makes me sad to write this review because even after the ownership change, I wanted to continue to support. Today it took over an hour and half for all of service. There was only one server there running the whole restaurant. She took 30 minutes to greet us and take our order. Over 40 minutes to receive food. When the server came to check on us 20 minutes later I asked her to pay. (Yes I had my eye on the clock). I can tell the people who were going to leave her a tip because she was extremely nice. The to-go order people were treated like complete garbage. She yelled at them and told them they needed to go sit down. She would literally shove the to go orders in the persons face. One family told her that they would be back in 30minutes and she said ,”at the least.” We received our food it was more vegetables than meat. The meat was burnt. There was an alarm going off for 5 minutes straight. The phone was ringing and ringing she acknowledged it and would say ,”they will have to wait.” This was not a pleasant experience. I paid over $70 for this terrible experience. It’s even more upsetting to see the owner being extremely disrespectful to those who leave reviews instead of taking accountability for his restaurants. I really hope we can see this restaurant overcome all of what they struggle with, however, we will not be back

Just moved here to Colorado and was craving good quality meats. This is the best choice right here! I love love their spicy pork belly and galbi so much. Their soups are amazing too! I am taking my parents here once they settle in their new home.

I went to this Korean Garden location to get dinner since it’s a place we like to get their Bulgogi beef whenever we are in springs. This time I was very disappointed with their meat. The meet as you can see in the picture is super dry. There was no sauce but just some carrots, onions and sesame seeds. I also asked for medium spicy and it’s plain. No taste at all. I am so disappointed to spend money on something that I don’t enjoy.wont be going to this location again

If you’re searching for truly authentic Korean cuisine in Colorado Springs, Korean Garden on Dublin Blvd is in a league of its own. Having lived and traveled extensively throughout Asia, I’ve been fortunate to experience Korean food at its source, and I can confidently say the dishes here are on par with what you’d find abroad. That’s not something I say lightly.
Since the recent change in ownership, the quality has skyrocketed across the board. The flavors are vibrant, balanced, and unmistakably authentic. Whether it’s the perfectly marinated bulgogi, the rich depth of their soups, or the freshness of their banchan, every dish reflects care, tradition, and genuine culinary skill. You can taste the pride in the kitchen.
The service has also taken a noticeable step up. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The atmosphere matches that energy: cozy, comfortable, and inviting without trying too hard. It’s the perfect place for a casual lunch, a comforting dinner, or introducing friends to Korean cuisine.
Cleanliness is another area where the new ownership shines. The dining room is spotless, the tables are well-maintained, and everything feels thoughtfully cared for. It’s clear the team takes pride not just in the food, but in the entire dining experience.
And the prices? Extremely fair for the portion sizes and quality. You walk out feeling like you got more than your money’s worth — a rarity these days.
In short, Korean Garden is hands down the best Korean restaurant in Colorado Springs. Authentic, delicious, welcoming, and run with heart. If you love Korean food — or want to discover what real Korean cuisine tastes like — this is the place to go.
