The food is okay, but there are very limited options.
What really ruined the experience was the service. The staff member who took our order was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Her attitude toward Asian customers was noticeably rude and impatient — she even rolled her eyes at us.
In sharp contrast, her attitude completely changed when serving white customers, becoming much more polite and friendly. It’s hard to understand why someone with such a discriminatory attitude is allowed to work here.
If you’re white, you might have an okay experience. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Korean Garden was the first place I ever ate Korean food. Since then, I’ve eaten Korean food in a variety of States, but none have been as good as Korean Garden in Junction City, Kansas. Due to COVID and staffing issues, their dining room remains closed. However, take-out is still available. The portions are a bit smaller and the prices are higher….but for me, it’s worth the occasional indulgence. Their dining room and kitchen are SPOTLESSLY clean compared to other local Asian restaurants and stores. The food is so flavorful. Yes, their open hours are limited, but it’s worth taking the time and effort to order take-out from this delicious Korean restaurant. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the smaller portion sizes, the higher prices and the take-out only policy.

Great tasting food! Friendly staff. They are great at remembering you & interacting with their customers. This place is very popular & around paydays & lunch time can tend to be busy. They do a great job during these times & I’ve never had an experience where any of the food has suffered quality even at the busiest times.

My spouse and I dropped by for lunch, and although there weren’t many cars outside, the place was surprisingly busy. The food was flavorful and reminiscent of our time in Korea. The elderly woman managing the counter was exceptionally kind. Despite my attempt to order from the dinner menu, I was informed that only items from the lunch menu were being served.

It was like a little slice of home, and the Kalbi is way too good.
This is tucked away near the military base next door, and dang is it good. The Kalbi and sideslike the Kimchee and Japchae are just like what I’ve had from Korean at home in the pacific. The flavors are really close, and I can’t help but love it.
This place is no frills, homestyle Korean food. And every time I pass through Junction City, KS…I will be coming here. No question.

The lunch here is awesome. It had a variety of small dishes that complimented my spicy squid (as well as bulgogi) well and was worth the price. I wish they served samgyeopsal daily but it’s only available on Friday and Saturday. We can’t wait to try the dinner menu. ***Update: We’ve been eating here every Saturday for the past three weeks, very consistent and does not disappoint.

Nice Korean food joint. Surely some Korean expats running this place. Menu is simple and food is out in a flash. Dishes come out similar to if you were in Korea with the metal rice bowls and clay soup pots. Plenty of side dishes offered with a meal. There is a market attached that offers exported food from throughout Asia not just Korea.

Best Korean food in Junction City. The pork lunch box is amazing.

The food is great. I’ve been to Korea, and the food here tastes the same. The price is very good for all the food you get. This is always a go to for lunch.

Very good food and perfect portion size. My husband always told me about the food when he was stationed in Korea and we finally got a chance to try it here and he says it’s even better then the food over there.
