We had a 4/5 stars experience at Kopper Kettle. It’s a casual family restaurant in Pineville. We visited for lunch one afternoon since it’s close to our office.
It wasn’t busy, and we were seated promptly on arrival. The service was prompt, and we got chicken quesadilla, a salad, and George’s Chicken Tender Basket. We liked the quesadilla and the salad, but didn’t care much for the Chicken Tender Basket. The fries that were served with the chicken basket were decent.
There’s ample parking outside, and they’ve restrooms inside as well. The service was polite, and the staff seemed to be trying their best. I might be back to try their other dishes.

Great stop for lunch. Service was fast and efficient. Salad was freshly made. Staff was friendly. Wish they were on my usual side of town but was happy to find them in my cross-town run today.

Ordered a hamburger steak w/onions, a side salad, and a “loaded baked potato”. The hamburger meat had this off my type smell and taste. The side salad came with just lettuce covered in ranch, and one side sliced tomato. My baked potato came out with cheese, bacon, ONION, and MUSHROOMS!! I couldn’t get to the potato for all the mushrooms. Not sure if it’s a Charlotte thing or not, but a loaded potato is normally bacon, cheese, chives, butter, and sour cream. Never would’ve thought mushrooms, or onions. The food is a little pricey, but overall… was disappointing.

I’ve heard such great things about this place. A few people have told me their country style steak is really good. Honestly the gravy wasn’t great tasted a bit off and bland. Country style steak tastes like Salisbury steak. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just bought it as a frozen dinner and are just selling it off. Mashed potatoes are really good until I found a hair at the bottom which made my puke everything up again.

Amazing food and a great friendly environment! I got a Philly cheesesteak, which was delicious as was the banana pudding and the Hershey cream pie! The fries are absolutely amazing! Be sure to try them! Great place to stop on a road trip!

Me and my husband decided to try something new and stop in to Kopper Kettle and it was the best decision. The food was down home cook for the right price and the chocolate cake and pudding was awesome as well. Will definitely be back to try the breakfast!
