We love eating at Kop Jai!! The menu is full of options. We always love to try different items from the street food menu portion. Everything is always fantastic here. We love to grab a bottle of wine from the party stop next door and enjoy it with a flavorful dish! We eat here a couple times a month and have a great experience each time.

As soon as this place opened it was delivering amazing quality food. Very well run business and well conceived restaurant. You can get things here that you can’t get anywhere else in Amarillo. My kids absolutely love it, and my wife and I order from here very often. The beef jerky sticky rice, Lao sausage, and laksa soup are among our favorites, but you could make a meal just from ordering several of the appetizers. Great place, and the service is incredibly fast. Even if you place a big to-go order it’ll be ready in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Food was really bland. The vegetable to meat ratio is way off for the price that you pay first and last time eating here waste of $50 will stick to Thai menu next time.

Service was outstanding, and the food was unbelievable, we love tai food and this is definitely gonna be a reacurring spot for me and my lady. Also frozen thai tea was probably the best drink I’ve ever had.

The food was amazing, but it did take a while to come out. The service from the two young ladies was disappointing. When I asked what the wrapped shrimp was, the waitress giggled and said, “Umm… shrimp,” without offering to check with anyone else. She may have been new, so I tried to give grace. The other issue was the noise—since the blenders for milk tea are in the dining area, it was so loud we could barely hold a conversation. Next time we’ll probably just get it to go.

I’m giving it four stars solely because this review is a few months late. Also, it was when they first opened.
Got many things in 2 times I’ve been in. Everything was average. But overall I was most disappointed by how the laab came out. They served it steaming hot to the point where it was sticky, mushy and a plate of nasty.
Excited for this place to keep getting better and to work out the small things of a new restaurant.

Do not recommend! The wagons burn. The portions of the food are so small for the price. Never eating at the place again. There is so much better Asian good available in amarillo for better price, better serviced and quality of food.

We had lunch there. In the beginning, I asked if the shrimp was tempura and waitress said she didn’t know but she would check. She never got back with me so I thought it must be. My husband ordered sweet-and-sour chicken and white rice and got fried rice. He didn’t complain. I asked if I could substitute the soup for the rice and she said sure but then I was charged for the soup. It ended up that the shrimp was not tempura, but instead was frozen!!! They have a huge menu, but I cannot see going back.
