First, let me start by saying I love the name of your restaurant and that’s what caught me initially i am from Pennsylvania when I tell you when I tell you everything was so flavorful very well cooked. the oxtail so tender and the jerk chicken was juicy and jerking. i also got akee salt fish omg so great. I was looking for great Jamaican food in Atlanta and found exceptionally amazing food. The portions were more than enough. I can’t wait to revisit to try more food from this restaurant.

Good lunch specials, nicely portioned with a drink. I ordered the stew chicken with boiled banana and dumpling, the jerk chicken with cabbage + rice and peas, the rasta pasta with mac and cheese. Most Jamaican restaurants are notoriously bad at making macaroni, but these folks definitely know what they’re doing. It tasted like they made it traditional style, it was definitely delicious as was the rest of the food was as well. I spent $35.99 for the 3 plates and had enough leftover for lunch the following day. The lady who rung me up was very sweet as well, breaking another stigma associated with Jamaican restaurants and customer service. She was pleasant with everyone, many of the folks she interacted seemed like returning regulars.

The brown stew fish was ok tasted a tad freezer burnt was a small fish as well, for 30 bucks could be a larger fish, beyond the freezer burnt taste flavor was good$31.. I’m ok with 31, i know cost is going up.. i know snapper not cheap..

I’ve been to Jamaica few years ago, craving for their curry. There are plenty of parking spaces, they take orders at front counter. My wife ordered ackee and salt fish, I ordered curry goat, with side orders for rice and cabbage. My wife satisfied with her ackee, only complained the little amount of salt fish; for myself, I’m pretty satisfied with everything. The curry goat was pretty tasty, the curry was spicy right to the comfortable point, the goat meat was tender; the rice comes with some red beans, I liked the rice was not too soft and the bean left bit of sweetness when swallowed. The cabbage was fine and nothing to write home about.
Although there are Bob Marley’s pictures in the restaurant, and I knew how much Jamaica people loved him when I was on their streets, but the name of the restaurant reminded us another legendary Jamaican – Usain Bolt, they should have pictures of him as well.

Ordered delivery on UberEats and it was so worth it. Prices a bit higher than the average Caribbean/Jamaican restaurant but the food was sooo good. I reheated the pasta and half of the salmon the following day and it was even more delicious. I also ordered coco bread and I’d give it a 3/5. I’ll definitely be ordered again. Give it a try.

I’ve been in a mood for ox tail for a long time and was having a hard time finding a good Jamaican restaurant to fit my need until I found this place. It’s a small restaurant but I can tell they stay busy because of quality of food. I ordered oxtail rice beans and cabbage and my girlfriend decided to try the curry chicken. Our food was very flavorful and we enjoyed every bite, definitely suggest to people who want some good Jamaican food!

Came across this place, and decided to try. I had the chicken lunch special. I aksed if the chicken was made on the grill and was told yes. The chicken had flavor and definitely was not made on the grill. I dont believe in adding sauce to jerk chicken, it should already be seasoned with jerk and spices. Probably will not go back.

Even though the AC didn’t work, the workers had a smile and were very attentive. We had stew chicken meals, one with Mac and the other with rice and peas. I was surprised the portions were so huge! It’s definitely worth the price. It was delicious, and even without ac, I would still come back. Very cozy up stairs down stairs atmosphere. Definitely good vibes.

Chicken was dry dry dry. It was 3:50, not the end of the night. No reason it should be this dry. First and last time I try this place. The jerk chicken was dry chicken that had jerk sauce on it. I go to places wanting to eat jerk chicken that’s cooked in the season and spices. Not to have a generic sauce on it. Look how dry those bones look.
