Was given a punch card for this place when cashing out at Woodchips so I walked across the street to check it out. They have cookie ice cream. I was told it’s 50% ice cream and 50% cookie. You can sample any that you would like. I got the pistachio Dubai and it was amazing. They have really big cookies and a couple gluten free options that were a lot smaller. It was Sunday so they had cinnamon rolls as well. Danielle was working and super sweet, super helpful and informative. She sold me for sure! I’ll be back. Check it out.

We will be back here for more. The cookies are mixed in the ice cream or is a wonderful filling treat. I would recommend this little gem to everyone. I can’t wait til you read the names of the flavors. If you eat at Wood chips before hand like we did you get a free cookie. It was a great experience. They have it all going on in this little downtown. Now go try it. Seriously

After hearing the buzz around town, reading glowing articles, and seeing mouthwatering photos online, I had to stop by Kookys N Cream in Downtown Lapeer—and wow, I’m so glad I did!

We tried the Dubai Chocolate and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Whoopi Pie, and both were absolutely amazing. The Whoopi Pie was a dreamy combo: a light, fluffy chocolate cookie, half-dipped in chocolate (the dipped side was my favorite!), with a rich, creamy filling that was perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of cookie that practically begs for a cold glass of milk.

The Dubai Chocolate cookie was a standout. Not overly rich, but packed with texture and layered flavor. If you’re a pistachio lover, this one’s a must—definitely a splurge-worthy treat that looks as good as it tastes.

Whether you’re a cookie connoisseur or just someone looking to treat yourself, Kookys N Cream is a must-visit. Pretty, delicious, and full of local love.

I’ve had this place saved in my maps to try out and my family and I went camping in Metamora this weekend and it was the perfect opportunity to stop by! I am very impressed with the cookies I got, the Dubai chocolate was to die for (that one itself is worth the 50 minute drive next time I crave a cookie) and the peanut butter whoopie pie was absolutely delicious as well. These are the perfect soft cookies and I will definitely be making a trip back again!! 5/5 stars all around

We had a buy one get one coupon and went to Kookys today for the first time and it was excellent. We had a peanut butter cookie which was good and then one of their oreo filled chocolate chip cookies….that thing was amazing! Definitely worth going!

Cashier on 2/3/2026 was rude. Walked to the front of the ordering counter and cashier didn’t say a word. Why should a customer have to initiate a conversation a representative of a business should be doing? Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ordered three specialty cookies. All as hard as a rock and tossed into a large blank white box. Great marketing there! Cashier also ignored the customers who arrived after me, not even a “hello” or “we’ll be right with you”. Also noticed while waiting that there was a small broom and dust pan on the counter space where orders are being packed. It was not a counter broom it was definitely a dirty floor broom. There were also drinks in the back area opened also where food might be typically prepped. Upon walking out it’s more noticeable that the floor mats are covered in crumbs/debris from outside and the front door and windows covered in smudge. Looks like they haven’t been touched in days. Overall poor experience, I can see why they’d pair with another not so strong small business in the market. Not the way to go when focus can be put elsewhere to create a cleanlier environment with proper hospitality…

What ice cream shop doesn’t carry cone!?!
They only serve ice cream in cups, but they said they might try to get cones soon.
They serve Guernsey ice cream but are very limited on the selection. I tried the pistachio and raspberry and really liked it. I also had the chocolate peanut butter cookies and cream. There were nice size dough droppings as well as candies for crunch.
The prices are over priced, a small is almost six dollars. One thing that is different and is a pro and a con, is they serve your cup of ice cream with a spork. This allowed me to dig into my frozen treat but then it made it almost impossible to scrape the bottom of the cup to get all the melted goodness.
