Tuesday is two for one sushi which is great. It still can be a little pricey but their two for one menu has a lot of good variety, a lot more than most sushi places have on discount days. The quality is good, especially considering it’s in a small mountain town. A lot of sushi places turn me off because they mostly offer fried rolls with mayo and cream cheese. This place has a lots of raw fresh options which is amazing. They also have a lot of gluten free options.

Dinner was amazing- literally some of the best food we have ever had. The atomic shrimp, the steak and goat cheese appetizer, Hawaiian chicken fried steak and sea salt cheesecake were all delicious. The coffee was also way better than expected. We asked for suggestions and they were absolutely spot on! The service was top notch and everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We were beyond impressed.

Very enjoyable dining experience. We had the carbondale roll (fave!), Kauai roll, & fried rice, all of which were great. If you are a coffee person definitely get a cup and have them explain why it’s so good. Susan was our server and was exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend!

This is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in the valley. If you have a chance to go while you’re in town, I would highly recommend. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Be sure to try the Negamaki appetizer, you will not regret it. All of the sushi we had was fresh, and the presentation was phenomenal.

My family and I went to this place because they supposedly had a great vegan selection of their menu. Apparently, they have a COMPLETELY separate and dedicated vegan menu! If you want to make sure that what you are eating has only plants in it, this place is a great choice when visiting Carbondale.
Don’t know what the other reviews on here are griping about, but the experience my family and I had was pretty awesome.
Place is decorated very fun: cool lighting, asian art, etc. It’s clean and feels comfy. We were greeted and seated right away.
We ordered 2 of the vegan appetizers (the Vegan Ahola Roll was absolutely fantastic!), 3 of the vegan entrees, and was able to sub meat on one of the items off the regular menu (many substitutions available for vegans and vegetarians alike).
Above all, and most importantly, food and service was excellent!
Probably the only criticism I have: I do agree with other reviews that, for the price, portion sizes may be smaller than expected, especially the entree I ordered, the Maui Onion Stir Fry. Absolutely delicious, but expected just a bit more food @ $16. Generally though, portions were fair.
Overall, definitely a great place to eat, especially if you have dietary restrictions.

We come from Flagstaff, AZ every year to savor this fabulous restaurant. Celebrated our 50th anniversary there recently. The owners, the staff are superb and the worlds best Asian Fusion style. An absolutely divine menu. Worthy of a special trip. I was 50 years in the resort business…ENJOY Konnyaku!

Best service in the area. Owner Susan is great. We had a company Christmas party there. She asked what our budget was and created an awesome menu for us. She even opened the restaurant outside of her normal hours to accommodate for us. Thanks.

Some of the best sushi in Colorado. The service is very friendly and attentive. They can tell you immediately which fish is wild and which is farm-raised. Apparently there was a false rumor that they closed, but they are definitely open.

Phenomenal food and service. The owners are hands on and very passionate about their restaurant. They take great pride in what they do. Ordered the house special OMG roll/German chocolate cake and they were both unbelievable. WELL worth the trip out.

I absolutely love this place. My girlfriend and I easily go here once every week or 2. I highly recommend going here the food is so great and a beautiful and romantic restraunt. I even went here for my 16th birthday because I love the sushi and atomic shrimp so much. It’s kind of hidden off the main road in carbondale but if you Google maps it then it’s easy to find. Highly recommend anyone coming and eating here
