I visit this place often with my family and it never disappoints. The weekly offers make it even more enjoyable and the quality of the meat is outstanding every single time. The food always tastes fresh and satisfying and the staff creates a very welcoming atmosphere. Our lunch visit yesterday was extra special thanks to our server Isabella. She was kind caring and super prompt with everything from taking orders to keeping our glasses full. She made us feel truly valued and comfortable just like sharing a meal with loved ones at home. I also really like how the restaurant adds festive decorations during different seasons which adds a warm touch. This is easily one of my most loved lunch spots and I always look forward to coming back.

I absolutely love dining at Gyukaku in Mililani! We usually go for the all-you-can-eat premium option at $65, and it’s worth every penny. While they claim you can only order two dishes at a time, we’ve found that it’s pretty flexible, and we often manage to order more than that. Just make sure you can eat it all!

Some of my favorite dishes include the umami scallion rice, yuzu shishito peppers, and the beef tongue and intestine. Each bite is packed with flavor, and the quality of the food is top-notch. Plus, I can’t resist pairing my meal with a lychee gin mojito—it’s absolutely delicious and adds a refreshing touch to our feast.

Every time I leave Gyukaku, I walk out feeling incredibly happy and stuffed to the brim—sometimes to the point where I can hardly breathe! If you’re looking for a fun and satisfying dining experience, I highly recommend giving Gyukaku a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant experience is not for everyone! The experience is unique and can be enjoyable with a group of friends. However, I am not a fan of cooking my own food “for a price!”
Pros: Plenty of menu options and add-ons. Reasonably priced lunch plates and drinks.

The food was delicious. I’ve been here 3 times now. They have an all you can eat menus with different price ranges. I believe it starts at $45 a person and goes up. Each level, you get more food options. But you have 90 minutes to complete it. The cocktails and ice cream were delicious, and if you need help with cooking, you can ask your waiter for tips.

Good price, options, and food.
The meats and the vegetables are very delicious.

The waiters are able to help if your new and they are also very knowledgeable in the menu items.
The atmosphere was a little dark due to the black walls, floors, and dark furniture.
The waitress was very friendly but when looking at others they seemed to be overwhelmed and stressed from just looking at them.

Great first time experience here! We’ve never had strictly Japanese BBQ before, so we were impressed. The food was great and the staff was attentive. It was a little expensive ($45 all you can eat on the lowest price package per person), but it was a great date night! We’ll likely be back!

Meh. I’ve had much better. The service from our server was a bit slow but she was very nice. The gentleman at the front hostess stand who checked me in was meh…I walked in to let him know we were there and he said we couldn’t be sat until everyone is there and we’ll be sat right away. Perfect, I went outside to get my family and we still had to wait another 10 minutes while they set the table. That was the whole purpose of checking in while they were outside.

We opt for AYCE for the adults and for the children we ordered ala carte. They had to sit on oneside of our party which is perfectly fine. I understood.

The meats were good which I had the pork belly, beef Toro (yum) and shabu beef (?). The shabu wasn’t as good as I’ve had at different locations. I also was able to taste the garlic noodles and my kids raved about the fried rice.

Happy they were able to accommodate a party of 10…

Our review of Gyu-Kaku Hawaii. This is your average Japanese restaurant. With a nice option to cook your own food I don’t think that it should cost $100 for a meal you pay more than what the meal is worth. I rarely am going back there. Find another restaurant that doesn’t cost as much, you’ll get more food. Thank you.
