Outstanding location! The sushi, bento box, and hibachi bowls were all flavorful and fresh. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s 20th birthday. The decor was lovely and our server was attentive and outstanding! We will be back.

Purple Honey
We went last night and waited a few minutes to be seated, which was fine but we sat for 25 minutes before we had to call someone over to our table. Not sure what was going on b/c the server kept going to the tables right by us. Looks like they may need more help. We were finally able to order but my soup never came. The food was good, I got the steak bento box and he got the hibachi shrimp bowl that he drowned in yum yum sauce. Ordered a bento soup but I didn’t get to try that.

Thank you for the absolutely wonderful dinner. I tried the miso soup and a spicy tuna roll. I also received a cucumber crab salad that was so lovely. They also have Sapporo beer. I appreciate the quick and attentive service. I loved my experience here and look forward to many more.

We had a great visit here. Our group had some customizations and questions and the server was informative, friendly, and accommodating. They were also handling a huge group of about 20 nearby, but our food came out so quickly. Everything was delicious.

EXCELLENT SUSHI!! Konnichiwa makes your sushi order fresh and right in front of you. It felt so good to eat non-processed food. See pictures as our party tried several different options. Highly recommended!

We tried to eat here. We were sat and gave our drink order. The server brought our drinks out and left. We then sat there for about 20-25 minutes and no one took our food order. We watched as a woman came in, ate and left in the time we sat waiting on someone to take our order. It was not overly busy and tables were open so I know we didn’t get lost in the shuffle.We left and went to Rockers Brewery. They took our order and we actually got to eat there. The food and staff were awesome. If in downtown Spartanburg, skip Konnichiwa if you’re hungry.

Rolls, bowls, appetizers are good. None of us cared for the rice they used, funny after taste. The scallop bowl also, not a favorite. Needs more sauce with bulgogli. But otherwise good, good servers, good taste, fast service. Vegetables are cooked perfectly. Just be aware of the prices, a bit high for rolls. But otherwise good job.

We had a variety of sushi rolls and nigri all of which was exceptional. They were able to provide us with authentic wasabi which was very tasty. Our waitress Ann was helpful and attentive and very personable. I would highly recommend eating here!
