I used to come here a lot for takeout, and it was always awesome to get home-cooked Thai food from this small, family-run spot. I’m not in the area much anymore, but after 4-5 years since I last had Kong Thai, I had such a hankering, so I went back and sat down to dine-in for the first time ever.
I heard the previous owners’ niece took over the spot. I was warmly greeted by the new proprietor with the same enthusiasm as the older gentleman who used to manage it.
They bring out free fried spring rolls as an appetizer treat! With those in hand, we ordered fresh spring rolls with chicken, pad saew with pork, and Thai basil with ground chicken. The curry is also a hit (voted best in all New Hampshire, per Yelp, in 2022) which I will need to revisit next time, as I remember it being awesome… hopefully that is still the case. Anyways, all the dishes we did order were just as great as I remembered. Very flavorful, served fresh and hot, and well-presented. My experience at Kong Thai under new ownership was just as good as before. I hope to be back again soon!

Absolutely amazing experience!! The management is so sweet, and the food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Best crab Rangoon I have ever had in my life. If you like Thai food, look no further because this is one of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Kong Thai for the wonderful experience! We will be back!

I was given free spring rolls (almost empty inside) and the service is very welcoming however this can not make up for the lack of flavor in food. My crispy pad Thai ($20??) wasn’t all that crispy at all, the noodles tasted somewhat stale as if they’ve been sitting for a while, and the sauce was horrendous, way over salty. No balance of flavor if any flavor at all. The chicken itself as if taken out of water was not soaked in the sauce (maybe that was a good thing afterall) and all in all this was worse than from any cheap Asian take out hole out there. I tried this place few years ago and nothing’s improved. I do not recommend this place until they get a real chef in there.

We ordered the drunken noodles with fried tofu and pad see ew with pork. The drunken noodles had just enough spice to it as not to drown out the taste of the other ingredients. Noodles were cooked just right. The pad see ew had good flavor, a good portion of pork and vegetable too, but noodles in my opinion were a bit soggy. Two egg rolls accompanied each meal and they were good. The server was very friendly and the food came out to us reasonably fast.

Great service in this cute little spot. Amaing tasting flavors at a very reasonable price. Definitely look forward to trying more of the menu!

I have a saying. If the place looks too beautiful the focus is on ambience and not the food. If the place looks run down, you’re going to have a great meal as they are focused on feeding you well.
Don’t let this place deceive you by its look. This was such a wonderful experience and if I lived closer I would be up again more frequently.
The spring rolls were divine, soft and fresh. The main courses were flavorful the vegetables and meat were tender and seasoned well and the sauce could have been licked up from the plate it was so comforting.
The service was great too, everyone was inviting and it was like seeing a friend who wanted to just have you over again.
It was a simple affair and one of my favorites this year, I’m glad we just drove over to check them out

Hidden Gem Alert! Was in Seabrook and craving some hot soup on a cold day and came across this cool little Thai place right off 95. First off, I was blown away by the positive energy and general attitude of the owners when I walked in! Turns out it is a husband and wife team who took the place over recently from a family member. Jason and his wife are the real deal and have a ton of hospitality experience and expertise in Thai cooking. I had an awesome bowl of beef Pho as well as fried dumplings and spring rolls. They use real flank steak in their pho and they were super helpful is giving me the lowdown and best ways to order it! Wish I had more time and brought a few friends to try more items but I will definitely be back! Don’t judge a book by its cover for now as the building on the outside as well as the sign are not a sign of a subpar experience! Awesome people, great food, and a great experience! Go check them out!

They go above and beyond. I ordered takeout with another restaurant and showed up here looking for my order. They made my order in 10 minutes and were so accommodating. They are the best. Best Yellow Curry I’ve ever had too. You can’t go wrong here. Thanks again Kong Thai!!!

This is what a 5-star service experience looks like! They were so cheery and kind. “Thank you for having dinner with us!” was said to even those getting take-out.
As far as food goes, it was delicious but I would have loved a peanut sauce dipping option. They may have had one upon request but we got take out while driving through the area and I didn’t think to ask until we were gone.
