My first time having a Kong Dog, happened to be on a quick run to the mall. Service was super friendly and they helped me understand the menu. I even bought it home and threw it in the toaster oven and it was delicious, I also got an Ube bubble tea which was delicious as it was beautiful, and I got a number 2 on the menu a potato outside with a beef and mozzarella dog and with a side of fries. Happy to report my first Kong Dog experience was a hit, will have another

I wanted a classic hotdog with fries and a lemonade so I ordered it as a combo so as it says just $5 more for fries and lemonade but they charges me 3.99 for thr fries and 3.99 for the lemonade, I never said I wanted a large. After bringing this issue up with Dennis, “the cashier” he said the combo is only for the chicken sub and chicken nachos. This is very deceptive marketing because as the menu doesn’t say that at all. I added the pictures to show it. Also I asked for a mango lemonade but through the chaos of trying not to get ripped off he rang it up as a normal lemonade but I didn’t go back to correct that. It was a very bad experience. The hotdog did taste good but the service was a complete fail…

The food court at South Shore Plaza is so chaotic, but the service at Kong Dog actually wasn’t too bad. They have a self-service kiosk for ordering and a screen that displays which order number is ready. The person who handed me my order was also friendly. The wait was around ten minutes for one corndog.

I ordered the Original Kong Dog with Chicken Sausage ($6.20). I don’t think they actually gave me a chicken sausage, but it’s fine. Overall, this tasted pretty good. The batter was very crispy and chewy but thinner than Mochinut’s, which is the only competition in the area I believe. It was sweet from the sugar coating, but the batter itself was not sweet like Korean corndogs traditionally are—it just had a fried taste.

Ordered a Korean popcorn chicken & a Strawberry Matcha Latte. Took about 15min for the order to be called out. While waiting for the popcorn chicken my latte just sat there. Upon receiving my latte was warm, popcorn chicken was very cold as if it just sat there those 15min until the fries were done (fries were hot). When I went to tell the worker that the chicken was really cold he suggested it was the sauce. It really WAS NOT the sauce that caused the chicken to be that cold. He wouldn’t warm it up & I just had to suck it up considering it was $12. Horrible customer service.

I recently visited Kong Dog and had an amazing experience! The Fruity Pebbles and Ramen corn dog with mozzarella cheese filling was a delightful blend of flavors—definitely a unique and tasty treat. Although there was a bit of a wait, which suggests they might benefit from hiring more staff, the delicious food made it worth it. I also appreciated the free lemonade, which was a nice touch, even though we had to show the cashier that we’re following them on Instagram. Overall, a fantastic spot with great food; just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

The food is really good. It always comes out fresh and I always find myself craving more after I finish it. I usually get the wings and fries combo and it’s pretty filling.

Sunday lunch, we stopped here while my car was charging. Had not seen this chain before, and I love hot dogs, so decided to try.

Not sure what the deal with the Korean pop dance videos playing, but fine. The order process was ok, though they sell what Americans would call corn dogs. Hot dogs on a stick. The various coatings were,,, interesting (crumbled up spicy Doritos? I guess).

I opted for a basic potatoes on a chicken hot dog, figuring it was a quick snack.

It wasn’t a quick snack. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or their processes are just terrible but it took 10-15 minutes for the food to come out (no drink ahead of time btw). What I got was a very simple dog with basically grilled potatoes glued on the outside. The sauce was okay (not a lot) and the lemonade was fine.

The wait time, plus the general meh-ness of the result pretty much tell me to pass on this next time I need a quick lunch snack.
