Great food! Everything tasted great and food came out fast even when it was a full house. Booking highly recommended as place is always packed, especially on weekends. Service is fast as well. But u have only 90 mins dining time before u r asked nicely to pay the bill.
Menu is huge, can feel quite overwhelming at all the choices. Recommended to go through the menu and choosing ur dishes before going.
Soundproofing / acoustics also could be improved – very hard to hear other ppl frm ur table.
Table also quite small compared to their tableware haha. Thankfully the service staff helps to divide some dishes to individual bowls n plates to help us manage that.
Overall, always a great place to come back for thai food. All the dishes we have had were great!!!!

Second time visiting Kompassion and honestly, never disappointed. You can really tell the chef takes pride in the food, everything tastes fresh, and when it’s spicy… it really kicks.
Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but it matches the quality, so it feels worth it.

The place itself is cozy, clean, and well-prepared. The staff is helpful.

One small thing though: the seating area feels quite tight. Today I was sitting with another table right behind me, and they had a wine bucket with ice next to them. I didn’t notice it at all, so when I stood up and moved my chair, I accidentally knocked into the wine stand, almost spilled it. Luckily nothing happened, but it was a bit shocking.

Maybe just a little more space between tables would make the experience even more comfortable. Overall still a great place, and I’ll definitely be back

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in Malaysia and actually in the world this year. Super creative dishes, Thai base with modern elements and some Malaysian fusion too. The tastes were rich and bursting with flavour. I also loved all the vegetables and garnishes in all the dishes, including the frequent use of dill. My favourite dishes were the fish yellow curry, lamb shank red curry, the crab fried rice, and the special mango sticky rice.

Atmosphere was busy and bustling. Fast and efficient service.

Thai food in KL? It was not originally part of the plan BUT I am so glad it got onto the itinerary! Firstly, this place had a lovely interior. Simple, wood forward, bright natural warm lighting, spacious and perfectly contrasting the more traditional Thai doors and bricks at the frontage.

Then the smiles from the service staff. It is hard to not smile back. It just hit me that Thailand is indeed called the land of smiles, isn’t it? Well, the servers were smiley, friendly, very knowledgeable, recommendations were not over board as their portion sizes were generous.

Then the food. This is not the Thai food that we usually get. Every dish seems to have a surprise in store, with local ingredients added to colour and enhance. We had a soup, a pork belly and a salad. They were all superb, well balanced and it was impossible not to finish up every dish!

The dessert was also spectacular! We had two. The tea-rum-misu and the plum mango ice cream. I am not doing justice to the names BUT the flavours I will remember for a loooong time. The ice cream had a good mix of tangy and sweet, and a whole array of crunch from ingredients like picked rambutans. The tea-rum-misu was just like comfort food. Something Incan easily finish all of on a cold night.

They had so many dishes on the menu I wanted to try but was impossible as there were just two of us. Next time we will go with more people!

Highly recommended!

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time and finally had a chance. Everything this restaurant served lived up to its standard and was remarkably delicious (chef’s kiss!). For someone who has a fairly low tolerance to heat, the green curry was creamy and balanced. A personal favourite would be the poached prawn in chilli and lime – super underrated imo.

Modern Thai dishes that just hits the spot. Curries were all so flavourful and well balanced. Green curry oxtail and dry curry seabass was amazing. The “jay-fai” crab omelette was less stellar though, can give this a miss as it was just regular fried egg, nothing mind blowing.

One of the best Thai food I had this year! The chef is talented and add slight twists to all the traditional item, making our meal an awesome adventure. Do save some space for the awesome dessert, I would just visit the place for the dessert itself.

The food was delicious, though not particularly mind-blowing. The service was excellent, quick, attentive, and there were plenty of staff on standby. Booking online was easy, which I highly recommend as the restaurant gets quite busy. The menu had a good variety of options. They were on the pricier side, perhaps due to the restaurant’s popularity and also quality fresh ingredients used. The Beef Tendon Curry was a standout dish, while the other dishes were good too. The drinks were also great. Our total bill for two came to approx RM300.

One of the best Thai fusion food in town! The dishes are full of flavor with a perfect balance of spice and creativity. Each plate has a nice modern twist while still keeping the authentic Thai taste. Cozy ambience and friendly service make it even better. Definitely a must try if you love Thai food with a unique touch.

My recent trip in Dec 2025 was far off in terms of the food quality. We ordered crab fried rice, stir fried Pak Leang, slow cooked seabass, prawn omelette, seafood po teak & double cooked pork belly.

Disappointed with the overall taste of the foods. Can’t justify the price of each dish. Note this was not my 1st trip, last one a couple years ago. Something must have changed for the worst (unfortunately), it was a much better eating experience back then.

Sad to say, I might not go back again.
