The service is fast and friendly, and the portions are generous. You can tell they put love into every dish, not just the wings. The fries are seasoned just right, and their sides add the perfect complement to the meal. Plus, the vibe of the place is laid-back and welcoming, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a full feast.
I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. If you haven’t been to Koks Wings and Things yet, you’re seriously missing out!

We went there in between Mardi Gras parades on Fat Tuesday.it was mostly empty because everyone was at the parade route or they ordered to go to eat at the routes. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. It was mostly just a party food place like wings and mini sliders but it filled us up. We will be coming back when we go back to Lafayette.

Really nice and laid back spot. Wings was on point and the fries to match. The platter with the fish will definitely fill you. The fish bites are seasoned and fried perfectly. I would definitely stop here again next time I’m in the area.

I have always enjoyed the food at KOK, but after my experience this past weekend, I will not be returning until management is addressed. The environment has been declining for a while, but what I witnessed from the manager, Kim, was unacceptable and frankly dangerous.
The evening was defined by extreme unprofessionalism and safety concerns:
Intoxication on the Clock: I witnessed Kim pouring shots of what appeared to be tequila/alcohol into a soda cup behind the bar and drinking it throughout her shift. As the night progressed, her speech became slurred and her aggression toward everyone in the building spiked.
Public Harassment of Staff: Kim spent the night berating her staff in front of a full dining room, calling young employees “incompetent” and “useless.” It was uncomfortable and heartbreaking to watch a leader humiliate their team publicly.
Customer Hostility: When I asked for a side of ranch, she rolled her eyes, told me to “wait my turn,” and then mockingly imitated my voice to a coworker. She also loudly called a family “cheap” and “trashy” the moment they walked out the door.
Service Neglect: She refused to take verbal orders, aggressively pushing everyone toward the kiosks so she could return to the bar to trash-talk customers and staff.
A business is only as good as its leadership, and right now, this location is a toxic environment. Having an intoxicated manager on the floor is a massive liability. Management needs to take serious disciplinary action. I would suggest avoiding this location if Kim is the one running the floor.

I’ve gotten togo before for my family. But hadn’t tried them myself before. My daughter and I dined in today. We got mozzarella sticks as app. Had them fries extra crispy, she got the breaded wings with katious sauce and her fries had lemon pepper. I got the fried fish with seasoned fries. Oh wow! Amazing!!!! Also, love the bathroom signs. And everyone was great. I don’t remember our servers name but we sat at Table 1, she was beautiful with braces and she took great care of us. She was amazing! They also line the boxes so your sauce doesn’t drip out of the box. Attention to detail is amazing!

If I could give 6 stars I would. You need to come eat here and I cannot stress this enough. Flavor explosion in every bite, doesn’t matter the dish. The sauces are so flavorful and the wings are falling off the bone and melt in your mouth. The sliders were so amazing and the egg rolls…too good. Damien is so kind and our server was great too! Everyone is friendly and helpful.

As my brother said “the hype is real”. I’ll be honest, it takes a little while to get your food and I think the ranch/BBQ drizzle for $2 is outrageous, but once you sink your teeth into the wings and eat those saucy fries, it’s like you forgive them immediately. These are REAL homemade chicken wings, not that battered stuff you find in freezers. I had honey garlic aka Krucial rub and it was so good. I haven’t been that satisfied with a restaurant meal in a while. I also tried some of my friend’s cheesecake. It’s so delicious and tastes exactly like a cheesecake should. Great place, great music, great prices (besides the fry drizzle), great food.
