If you find yourself in terminal F of SFO and you require sustenance and nothing else is open, this place has food. But don’t get your hopes up. All dishes come with a side order of disappointment.

I had beef short ribs with broccoli and kung pao chicken. The beef was okay, bland but not offensive. The chicken dish did not resemble any Kung Pao I’ve ever had, doesn’t it usually have nuts? The chicken meat was dry and overcooked, with a mushy mouth feel. The sauce was okay and the veggies were nice.

The atmosphere was as expected, “run down airport terminal”.

All in all, I found the food options at the SFO F concourse lacking in every way.

Not amazing, but I’d still eat it again. You can’t compare it to the actual koi palace, I think they are doing themselves a disservice by using the same branding as they’re setting themselves up for disappointment. I would call this a slightly tastier version of Panda Express at a similar price point. $16.99 for a 2 item combo. Veggies weren’t too oily which I appreciated, and the chicken scoop was generous.

The other reviews are low because SF has high standards for chinese cuisine. If you manage your expectations this place is decent for what it is (airport food). I would come here again.

Honestly a disappointing experience even for airport chinrse food. I guarantee you it looks better than it tastes.

I had the lo mein, vegetables and orange chicken.

The lo mein was the pinnacle of the dish. However the oily noodles left desire in my heart and a coating on my mouth.

The vegetables were decently steamed but overall I would describe them as wet and tasteless.

The orange chicken had a bitter element that I would say nearly ruined the dining experience. The chicken itself was tough and overdone.

Honestly, it was food. It was edible but I don’t think even given the choice between this and whatever was at a kiosk, I’d go kiosk. This was just purely not a good attempt at this type of Chinese food.

Staff was prompt and polite.

Ready to eat food is cold as some other reviews also said. Avoid orange chicken. Mongolian beef was decent just a lot of veggies vs beef. If I had to order again I would get the Mongolian beef entree plus maybe a made-to-order sticky rice and skip the combo meal, noodles are greasy and flavorless even with sriracha. Service was pleasant, but this food court is very depressing— nearby bar had better vibes for sure.

I always stop at Koi Palace Express to eat their BBQ Pork Buns – they are absolutely delicious! Perfectly soft buns with a flavorful, savory-sweet filling. The taste was authentic and made for a great meal before my flight. The service was quick and efficient, making it a convenient option when you’re in a hurry. Highly recommend grabbing a bite here if you’re flying through SFO!

Had Shanghai dumplings and they were delicious. Was looking for healthy light food and it was exactly what I needed. They pulled it out of fridge and cooked for 10 min so it was fresh.

Food was cold even though they said they just made it. How is it that you took garlic eggplant & hot and sour soup off the menu, but it is still showing? It’s the only reason why I come here.

The Teriyaki chicken was very dry at 8:00 o’clock in the morning. Thought it was food remaining from the previous night of cooking. The orange chicken and fried rice was also very disappointing. Not a fan of this site.

The food was OK! The “Kung Pao” Chicken was bland and the chicken was super dry. The noodles and sesame chicken tasted somewhat good for being airport food! I would only recommend eating here IF there’s no other options that sparks your appetite!

This meal+bottled water = $22.38
