Delicious beef noodles!! It’s a casual spot with good food and friendly service. Approachable price point for Fulton Market, offering lunch specials and happy hour menu. They also have vegetarian and vegan options.

So there’s a discount incentive to leave a review here. While i understand the restaurants reason to do this it doesn’t paint an accurate depiction of the experience here for those who haven’t visited yet. It’s like a paid promotion review on Amazon. Koi is a No frills ramen spot and definitely not great, but definitely not bad either. Is it nearly as good as other popular ramen spots in the area? Answer: A resounding no. Keeping that in mind this place is just as expensive. What I liked: the broth is light and the meal isn’t as heavy compared to most ramen spots. What I didn’t like: the happy hour appetizer deals are not really deals. 4 tiny 2 bite sized wings for $10. The noodles aren’t hand pulled despite being advertised as such. All in all a decent place that’s a notch above what you could make at home, but for a gourmet price.

Food was absolutely fantastic, from the savory and rich flavor of the broth, to the super tender and generous portion of protein, this spot is absolutely worth visiting! The salt & pepper egg tofu really encapsulates Chinese cuisine, with its SUPER flavorful and crispy garlic & pepper bits, while also having a perfect soft egg tofu texture. The staff was absolutely wonderful, as they always checked on us when needed & overall were very friendly and insightful!!! Lindsey & Paola recommended us to add their signature house-made spice mix into our broth, and it absolutely did NOT disappoint. Overall, We were very pleased with the overall experience and food at Koi Noodle. Will definitely come back!!!!

New spot in the west loop and it actually has a great dining space too! Love that they have a vegan menu and a stellar happy hour. And the pan fried garlic edamame was amazing. The pear cocktail and sake for two was great too. I loved the hand pulled noodles. Get their salt n pepper tofu! And end with their new Ube cheesecake with mochi!!. Wow! @chicagopescetarian

got here on random monday night because it was close by and we were lucky enough to make it to happy hour! always a good sign! apparently they just opened in july. vibes and service were top tier 5 stars and the food was exceptional at 4.5. we got the koi sampler. crab rangoons, garlic edamame, the koi salad, and the signature noodle soup with braised wagyu brisket. my faves were the crab rangoons with their housemade apricot sauce, and since im a garlic lover, the edamame. everything else was really good too! i got the lychee beachy, sweet and strong. again, its all based on my preferences. i liked the saltiness of the pork belly and bulgogi, but the salt and pepper wings were kind of bland. i liked the lightly fried batter and i just added sweet chilli i like my wings saucy. the salad and noodles were fine but were great after adding chili oil, which was recommended by the staff. i also liked how there was a part of the menu with staff reccomendations! overall 4.5/5!

Had passed this place a few times but finally made it in and it was amazing! Got the wonton soup and signature soup with sichuan beef shank. Highly recommend adding noodles to the wonton soup as well. Both hit the spot with the cold weather coming in.
The crispy pork belly was delicious as well, but recommend getting the sauce on the side.
Love fusion of Chinese and Japanese flavors for something totally unique yet familiar. We plan to come back to try the rest of the menu at some time!

So much fun here! New spot and I’m new to town so it was nice to find this place! The libations were amazing! We had some curated cocktail shots and a yummy mangorita! Best salt and pepper wings! Hands down best garlic edamame I’ve ever had! Yummy hand pulled noodles and great vegan wontons! Can’t wait to return and try brunch!

Extraordinarily bad if you’ve ever had a decent bowl of noodles. They claim the noodles are handmade/hand pulled but I saw the noodles come out of plastic packets. They are definitely machine made or ordered from somewhere. They also overcooked them to the point they barely had any chew. Ordered the wagyu short rib and somehow they managed to make wagyu tough. All of the toppings were cold, even the wagyu short rib was not properly warmed. Ordered the level 3 spice but was just moderately spicy. Server forgot my drink and had to flag her down for utensils and the beer I ordered. Actually mad that I came here due to the high number of 5 star reviews, this place deserve no higher than a 3/5 across all reviews. I make better instant ramen at home.
