Can’t speak highly enough of this place.
Come on Aberdeen council, give this and surrounding businesses the opportunity to survive and thrive.
The service we received was excellent, all staff made sure we had everything we wanted and ensured we had plenty drinks
Starters
*Popadoms & Chutney- Mango, mint raita & spiced onions
*Corn Chicken- Baby corn stuffed wrapped in breaded chicken
*King Prawn Puree- Spiced prawns with deep fried bread
Mains
*Mango Malai- Cooked with fresh Mango, fresh cream, sultanas and cashew nuts
*Shahi Vojon- Chicken, king prawn, shack kebab and lamb cooked with exotic spices
Sides
*Peshwari Naan
*Coconut Rice
*Green Salad
*Roti
*Cucumber & Onion Raitha
The starter was okay, but not extraordinary
But then the vegetarian mains and the naan bread was really bad.
Both Matar paneer and daal makani had a weird, disgusting cheesy taste.
The taste didn’t come from paneer…
And the naan was more a pizza dough then a naan.
Also the music was too loud and their cardpayment system didn’t work with either of our cards, so we had to get cash.
All in all very disappointing and also quite expensive
They even made the my Indian friend a dish that wasn’t on the menu!
Would highly recommend and thank you all so much for your hospitality this evening!
This Indian restaurant at 62 Bridge Street, Aberdeen is a gem among restaurants offering a wide range of Eastern delicacies and sensational taste combinations all served by smiling staff from a spacious kitchen to the equally spacious but relaxing dining area. The cuisine was excellent and was suitable for a broad range of tastes and preferences which the kitchen was more than eager to cater for. Wonderful! Culminating in making a pleasant family outing a memorable event which I and my family look forward to repeating soon. I highly recommend Khinoor fo all culinary events and feel it is a must for Aberdonians and visitors alike.
