It’s was ok. I got a spicy whitening fish sandwhich. The Bread was stale. The Onions taste like soap. The service was great. I also was charged an extra 1$ for getting a fish sandwhich. ♀️ So get a copy of ur receipt.

I figured that I would give them a shot since my staple, Helen’s, is closed on Mondays. I ordered a fish sandwich (hot) with Mac & Cheese. The spice was good, but it’s just a sprinkle of seasoning on top of the fish. I think it would’ve been better if the fish was completely coated. The Mac & Cheese was bland. It wasn’t seasoned at all.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The chicken was cooked to perfection—juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside—and bursting with flavor. But the real star of the show? Their sauce. It’s absolutely incredible—rich, tangy, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of kick. I could honestly eat it with everything! The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. This has definitely become my go-to spot for satisfying chicken cravings. Highly recommend!

I hadn’t been here since I moved to Murfreesboro 8 years ago. I moved back to Antioch recently and wanted to go there immediately due to being a previous frequent customer. I ordered a giant fish sandwich with spice level 3 and an order of okra. The okra was fried in clusters like it had been previously frozen, thawed and then frozen back together. It tasted old and had an aftertaste. The entire thing was inedible! The fish was chewy. I will never return here!!!

Overall it’s good, but not worth the hype. The 2 tenders, 1 fish, and 1 side is a great price, but the flavor was lacking. It’s seasoned, but it wasn’t anything amazing. The tenders were dry I wanna say they were over cooked. The fish filet was extremely thin, the collard greens were cold and the blandest item of the whole meal. However, I did order an extra side of Mac n Cheese and that was hot and good. Lastly, the order comes with pickles, onions, and mustard and if you don’t ask her for it they won’t include it in your meal even though the menu says it’s included. Service is definitely lacking in that department. Overall, it’s just ok I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. Gowdy’s Seafood was MUCH better in my opinion and you get great service too.

Ordered bc of a Facebook recommendation in a community group! All I order was a 6 piece wing and they were really good! All flavors are dry except the sweet heat which is what I got. Staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely be going here again.
