The food was absolutely delicious, with mind-blowing flavors. Every dish we ordered had a unique taste, and honestly, each one became a favorite. We tried the Fish Moilee, Kochi Special Chicken Curry, Malabar Paratha, Appam, Vellayappam, and Ada Payasam—everything was outstanding.
It was especially kind of the chef to personally visit our table and check on how the food was, which made the experience even more special.
We will definitely be visiting again, as many other dishes on the menu looked amazing and tempting.
We’ve been coming here for over two years, and the quality has been consistently outstanding every time. It’s rare to find a place that maintains this level of excellence and authenticity. If you’re looking for real Kerala-style Indian food with incredible flavor, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Would recommend the kozhikoden mutton biryani and the meen pollichathu
From the spices to the atmosphere, this is the place to go if you want a genuine taste of South India. Highly recommended for anyone who values both great food and a personal connection to the kitchen!
The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our friends who planned the surprise couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything tasted! The food arrangements were equally impressive starting from drinks to appetizers to main course and deserts!! All very elegant, thoughtful, and lined up perfectly without any wait times.
But what truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine smiles added so much joy to the occasion.
Thank you Kochi (specially to the owner Jebu Mathews who also happens to be from the same city Nagpur that I am from) for making my 50th birthday unforgettable. You weren’t just a venue—you were the heart of the my surprise birthday celebration!!
Thank you once again.

We drove for more than an hour to visit this restaurant. The service was by far superior to what you would expect at any Indian restaurant. The chef personally came and spoke to customers and took feedback.
The food was decent and I would recommend the beef cutlets and the Shrimp Ularthiyathu. They used the smaller shrimps which is ideal for this kind of a preparation. They were also cooked perfectly. The Malabar Porotta was fresh.
We felt the Appams and the meen pozhichachu could have been better. They did not charge us for the appams when we gave them the feedback.
Overall, their service was exceptional.
CONs – only open on weekends. ??
Well , there are very few Kerala restaurants in central / south NJ and hence finding this place was the best thing for us . Just 15 mins drive and fantastic location in East Windsor. Good parking facilities and there are so many other restaurants near by. We used to drive 45 mins for Kerala food and now it’s near . Great service . Always smiling and very courteous service . Ambience inside was ok , but I wish they make it better to make an essence of Kerala with some good Malayalam music and decors .
We ordered a long list of food . Of course we came here for The fish polichatu.. a special dish famous in this restaurant. It was about 28$ though… my friend loved it . Nicely done but we thought it could have more spice and masala . Kerala chicken fry was really good. . Decent quantity . Kerala parota was authentic . I hope it was hand made and not frozen. Tasted good . KOZHI / chicken curry was too good . Perfect taste and spice . Veg Kurma was good . appam / coconut milk was good too..
Mutton biryani was one of its kind .. oh my god . Really good didn’t taste like biryani but the aroma was really good .
Idiyappam was average . Because it was dense it was a rough tough to eat . Wish it was more soft .. sakkarai pongal sweet pongal was average too. Ada pradhaman was really good .
Overall it was a good experience.. wanted to give 4 stars but gave it a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
