The settings can’t exude any more zen vibes than this… A nice cool day, autumn colors to greet your eyes, the soothing sounds of the creek, smoke from the burning sage… This tranquil spot is surrounded by highways and roads – a total oasis.
Our host was super nice. The chef is laid back on the grill. Then came the food. Exquisite. Everything was perfectly seasoned with fresh ingredients. The food prep was very simple but articulate and intentional.
We had tapas for 1 (definitely get the tapas), the grilled chicken pargiot (the best juiciest chicken), the chicken pita, the mocktail of the day, herbal tea (fresh mint leaves with honey), and topped it off with the baklava.
Simply divine.
It was something we didn’t expect from this place. We had the food but the taste was not to the scale of what we paid for.. presentation was good but the meal was not flavourful
The humus and pitas were good though..
Price was above average price compared to other fine dining restaurants.
“”Response from the owner 6 hours ago (July 4,2024): “hey shivang
each have there own taste in food, I guess this one was not for you.. all the best”
This is the first time I ever received this kind of weird response from the owner of the restaurant. Indirectly the owner is saying I’m responsible for the taste (This is not the first time I had Israeli food!) A very weird and rude response I ever received from the owner.
My response to the owner with all due respect – I share the honest reviews from my personal experience, I’m not here to demote your business. And this is not the first time I tried Israeli food. I know the taste and delicacy very well. I’ve been reviewing restaurant and places for more than 15 years. You can check my review profile. I never received such a response like this from the owner stating “I’m responsible for taste”
The herbal tea was made with fresh leaves and smelled divine. The lemonade was the best I have had no tartness to it and not overly sweet just refreshing. In the past I thought I did not like hummus. This place changed my mind. The skirt steak was the chef’s recommendation and the star of the show. We also tried the lamb burger, and ShacKufta. If it wasn’t the fresh ingredients and traditions passed down then it must have been the love put into every dish!
