The restaurant is right off the creek in a really relaxing environment with a hammock, soccer goals, and picnic tables. Every dish was delicious. It was some of the better hummus and falafel I’ve had in the states.

Fantastic place tucked away off the side of the road. Very fresh Mediterranean / Israeli food that tastes authentic. I had the Sabich (grilled eggplant) pita and it was great. The atmosphere on the patio is also serene. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Absolutely incredible, one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We started with the tapas offering for 2 with fresh pita and a delicious offering of hummus and other sauces and veg. Then had the lamb burger and steak pita. The meat quality and freshness of the veg and pita was unbeatable. Certainly a hidden gem of the are. Would highly recommend.

Made to order food was delicious (I had flank steak with grilled veggies in a pita) but don’t expect a quick lunch. Friendly server and owner. Place is a like a hut outside with a roof to protect from rain. Bring your coat. I’m sure in warmer weather it’s the place to be to hang out by the nearby creek but a cold rainy day didn’t help.

Food was AMAZING. My boyfriend said this is the best salmon he’s ever had. The hummus was also great. Super fresh food!

This place offered up such a nice experience with a unique menu of amazing foods. Our experience couldn’t have been more perfect as it was such a chill way to dine outside. I chose this place as a surprise for my wife on our Pocono getaway because of the menu options that she would enjoy but I fell in love with the cuisine as well! The food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I had the Koby Shack Burger which was unlike any other burger, and so filling! My wife had the salmon and enjoyed every bite. Koby and his staff were all friendly and attentive and I want to give a shout out to the owner’s son who was a very polite and professional young gentleman. We both hope to go back whenever we go back to the area.

Dead of winter, snow is falling, this place is a cozy gem in the Poconos! Looks can be deceiving, it’s clear meals are made from the heart. Best hummus I have ever had. Food was amazing and I felt like I was home having dinner. A must go to – well worth the price as the quality is there!

Yo what the?! This restaurant should be in magazines and hidden gems lists and etc. We’ve been on the road for two weeks now and it was the best meal… No, food experience so far. The moment we parked, we were greeted and brought to our table along the creek.

The settings can’t exude any more zen vibes than this… A nice cool day, autumn colors to greet your eyes, the soothing sounds of the creek, smoke from the burning sage… This tranquil spot is surrounded by highways and roads – a total oasis.

Our host was super nice. The chef is laid back on the grill. Then came the food. Exquisite. Everything was perfectly seasoned with fresh ingredients. The food prep was very simple but articulate and intentional.

We had tapas for 1 (definitely get the tapas), the grilled chicken pargiot (the best juiciest chicken), the chicken pita, the mocktail of the day, herbal tea (fresh mint leaves with honey), and topped it off with the baklava.

Simply divine.

The place was good but the food was below average..

It was something we didn’t expect from this place. We had the food but the taste was not to the scale of what we paid for.. presentation was good but the meal was not flavourful

The humus and pitas were good though..

Price was above average price compared to other fine dining restaurants.

“”Response from the owner 6 hours ago (July 4,2024): “hey shivang
each have there own taste in food, I guess this one was not for you.. all the best”

This is the first time I ever received this kind of weird response from the owner of the restaurant. Indirectly the owner is saying I’m responsible for the taste (This is not the first time I had Israeli food!) A very weird and rude response I ever received from the owner.

My response to the owner with all due respect – I share the honest reviews from my personal experience, I’m not here to demote your business. And this is not the first time I tried Israeli food. I know the taste and delicacy very well. I’ve been reviewing restaurant and places for more than 15 years. You can check my review profile. I never received such a response like this from the owner stating “I’m responsible for taste”

My family and I enjoyed a meal here late evening as the sunset. This restaurant is on a beautiful and peaceful property. The chef puts heart and soul into the food. There wasn’t anything brought out that we didn’t like. Our biggest disappointment is that they are closed Monday, Tuesday so we can’t go back during our visit in the poconos.
The herbal tea was made with fresh leaves and smelled divine. The lemonade was the best I have had no tartness to it and not overly sweet just refreshing. In the past I thought I did not like hummus. This place changed my mind. The skirt steak was the chef’s recommendation and the star of the show. We also tried the lamb burger, and ShacKufta. If it wasn’t the fresh ingredients and traditions passed down then it must have been the love put into every dish!
