We visited this place with friends as someone recommended this. The first impression wasn’t good due to the old oily smell coming from the restaurant and the dirty look. Need some work there.
The hinachi area was nice and clean, not too loud and the the chef was really nice. The food was served really quickly and everything was very tasteful. The sauces made it tastier. The only thing that can be improved is the miso soup which wasn’t good and the salmon can be sourced fro. Somewhere better. That was smelly. Usualy if salmon is fresh and wildly caught it doesn’t smell that way.
It was very reasonably priced and overll recommended

Second time here. This place is my favorite Hibachi in ROC. The chefs are so much fun and everyone engaged the whole time they are cooking. The food is fantastic, giving you a little extra every time. I strongly suggest making a reservation as they fill up fast. I like consistency and Kobe has it!

I’m so tired of these guys. I give them so much business. They made me wait an hour and a half waiting for take out that was supposed to be 45mins. This wasn’t even a big order. Sushi and a couple tempura. For 45 minutes straight they told me the food was coming. I was about to walk out. Then finally the food came out. The manager was genuinely sorry, and tried to give me drinks as I was leaving. But then I get home, and they shorted me an order of sushi. Unbelievable. Not only did they steal my time, they stole my money too. So done with this place. Check the receipt, charged for 5 orders. But they gave me 4. This is actually the second time this exact thing happened. So they’ve done this twice now. Yeah, I’m not getting robbed again.

We order hibachi every week from this restaurant. Recently we have noticed a difference in portion size. Last night we spent $91 for 2 rolls of sushi and 2 plates of hibachi. Normally they fill the tray up with filet and chicken. If it’s a lighter portion maybe 80% of the way. Last night this was the potion I received. My wife’s portion was about 65% of this. 6 small pieces of steak and 4 small pieces of chicken. A similar restaurant in Greece called SoHo Sushi and Hibachi gives you 3x the serving size of meat for $23 while Kobe charges $30. They both come with the same portion of rice/noodles but SoHo has fresher Filet and chicken. I tried to give Kobe a chance as our family has been a long time customer but they would not rectify the ridiculously tiny portion sizes.

The best sushi I have had since I moved from NYC, known for great sushi. It’s fresh, deliciously prepared, with tremendous variety. The portions are very generous for price. I have been a repeat customer and always enjoy the food. Also there are great options for those who don’t prefer sushi. The staff is always friendly and service is beyond exceptional. All of my friends have tried and agree. I would not dine anywhere else. Thank you for the scrumptious food!!!

We ordered sushi to go. The food was delicious, everything was fine overall, but! For 13 servings of sushi, we were given only 3 sets of chopsticks, and they didn’t even ask us how many we needed over the phone.

First time having Hibachi. Went here for our anniversary. Only one other couple across from us and they spent the whole time on their phone haha. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching it get cooked. The chef was very skilled. Only complaint is he was done too fast! I thought dinner would last longer but we were done eating in 45min. We both got chicken hibachi and were very satisfied with the quality and price.
