Came to Minnesota to spend time with family. Xmas Eve the sister was spending the day with her husband side of the family. Knowing this weeks in advance, the husband and I made reservations a head of time to sit in the dining area and not at the hibachi table. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess, she was able to sit us right away even though we arrived 30 min too early. By the time we sat down and ordered a huge crowd of people came in. Was glad reservations were made.
Husband I were craving sushi, so we got the 2 person sushi boat. It was delicious. Rolls did not taste fishy, there was no weird smell and presentation was beautiful. We ate every single roll left the restaurant overly full and and satisfied.
The waitress that help us was super nice. She explained the difference between the 2 person vs 4 person rolls and let us know what rolls were what when she brought the sushi to us. She did a few follow ups to make sure we had everything we needed.
Would go back the next time I visit Minnesota again.

First time here. Was welcomed and seated quickly, and our drink order came quickly. Nice portions and cooked to our temp. I had spicy chicken (no it wasn’t spicy for me) but very good. Fried rice was good. We were with family for our granddaughters birthday and they provided a dessert. Food was great!

Worst sushi I’ve had in my life. Seaweed was chewy and wet tasting. I got the lake roll which was expensive and I had high hopes for it. Nasty roll. The tuna on top tasted like liquid smoke. The inside had cilantro and fresh jalapeno. The cilantro was just crammed into the roll not diced or anything. I also got a spicy yellow tail roll. It was more tempura flakes than actual meat. It tasted like eating sand. The crab rangoons seemed to be missing crab as it didn’t even taste like crab. My partner got two rolls and couldn’t even finish them because of the gross seaweed inside of it. $108 down the drain. The only decent part of the visit was the waiter. Nice person and kept our drinks filled. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was here with a friend after not having been for many many years and, for clarity, the food I ordered was EXCELLENT, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the selection. We were not doing hibachi that night (needed to dine quicker than that) and I can’t eat seafood (sushi). This left teriyaki (veg/chicken/steak), vegetable tempura, and fried rice. I chose the steak teriyaki and it was cooked perfectly and flavored nicely and the sides were delightful. My friend had all sushi options which looked beautiful and he ordered seconds of one, so must have been quite good. So if you’re a foodie – it’s good. If you are a SEAfoodie, probably even better.
Kobe used to have this amazing duck dish that I was looking forward to, but alas, it is no more.

A friend and I went here for their last night from visiting out of state. It was a wonderful experience. We ordered hibachi items and received great service. Our chef was fun and incredibly entertaining. Our food was cooked perfectly and was delicious!

Probably one of the best sushi restaurants in MN. Sushi is so fresh, fried and hibachi dishes never disappoints. Such a surprise find especially given it’s located in suburban Minneapolis. I started visiting here years ago and still do even after I moved out of the area. Can’t believe they still remember me after not coming back in a while! I definitely owe them a 5 start review so here you go <3
FYI they have actual A5 Wagyu beef which I haven’t be able to find elsewhere in MN

Beautiful restaurant. But they did not have any wagyu available, nor the kobe sushi when we went on 02/13/26. Food taste was pretty standard. Sushi cost about 20-25 dollars per roll. Overall, average sushi spot with a nice hibachi.

The appetizers were fire, can’t go wrong deep frying stuff honestly. I’d give The calamari and shrimp Tempura 8.9/10. The sushi rolls were also good, I wouldn’t say they were the best I had but they definitely scratched the Sushi itch I had that day. I’d rate the specialty rolls I ordered at 8.2/10. Solid quality.
The service was a little slow but very friendly, when present. Overall I’d come back here again to try different specialty rolls or the hibachi grill but it wouldn’t be my first choice, if it’s just the sushi rolls.

We came in for a celebratory hibachi lunch and everything was great! The chef was very entertaining and the food was delicious. The lunch special is also a very reasonable price considering it’s a meal and a show!
