Kobe Hibachi Grill & Sushi just became one of my favorite spots in town. Everything tasted fresh from the first bite to the last, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier—welcoming at the door and attentive throughout the meal.
The sushi was excellent: clean-tasting fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and rolls that were thoughtfully made (flavor-forward without being drowned in sauce). You can tell they care about quality and balance.
The hibachi experience was a blast. Our chef kept things fun while cooking everything to a perfect doneness—tender proteins, veggies with a nice crisp bite, and seasoning that hit the sweet spot: savory, balanced, not too salty. It’s the kind of table-side show that makes dinner feel like an occasion.

The sauce they put on the hibachi food is very salty. Our chef was friendly, and joked. Our server was kind and quick. The atmosphere is great. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but you get a lot of food. Plates are large enough to share or take home for lunch next day.

Great service, great food. While in town for work, I stopped in for lunch since Kobe was close to my hotel. I ordered a variety of rolls, they accommodated me & was able to duplicate my favorite roll I get when I’m home. I did take out, while I was waiting for my order, the employee that was at the front end, (I apologize, I forgot his name), kept me entertained with good conversation & made my wait a pleasant one. Did I mention the rolls were fabulous!!! I would definitely return when I’m in the area again

Went here based on ratings. Stay away at all costs. I am far from hard to please and never make reviews even if the food or service are subpair, for this place i will make the exception. Food trucks make better food and service is also way higher. Waited almost an hour for food came out just when we were about to leave. Gave it a chance and it was a mistake. Soup tasted like plastic, salad was ok at best, main entrees we couldnt hardly eat becuase the taste was so off putting. Staff along with the GM basically didnt seem bothered about it, paid for what we ate and left and that was being generous. The inside was cold, and the bathrooms were nasty. If i would have seen the bathrooms first we would have left immediately. Will never be back at this place. Should have looked at the recent reviews

The food was delicious. The wait for our chef was about 30 minutes from when we got sat. The ly had one server for our whole table which made the wait for drinks, checks, and cards was rather long. However it’s always a fun experience.

I had a great dining experience at Kobe. My server Miss Mia was very professional genuinely kind, and gave the very best recommendations. I highly recommend Kobe, if you’re in the Fayetteville area, check them out. Food was exceptional. The atmosphere was great and everyone was genuinely upbeat and kind. Much appreciated Kobe! Also, don’t forget to ask for Miss Mia, she’s Awesome.

The food was excellent. Very filling, and tasted great.
However the service was lacking. We had a reservation and still waited half an hour after our reserved time to be seated.
We had to ask for silverware. We had to ask for drink refills. We asked for yum-yum sauce and soy, but they didn’t have any sauce bowls or sauce available except on the chef’s cart itself.
The server tried to upsell a tall beer, then told us they were out of tall glasses. They were also out of soup bowls. Then he offered us an ice cream (we were celebrating) but came back and said they were out of that also.
The cook did a good job, but I’m not sure he ever even made eye contact with any of us. He didn’t do any of the fun extras that are expected – he just cooked the food and left. Which is fine, but it’s not why you pay extra for a hibachi experience.
This restaurant needs to buy enough supplies to not run out of basic dishes on a busy night. They need to take reservation times seriously. And they need to make a point of giving each guest a better experience.
Good food. But with the overall service, not worth the price.

Honestly I am so disappointed. For about the last year and a half I have been going here and getting the same thing: the Go Hogs Roll. It is labeled as a cooked roll on the site and menu and for the first year it was completely cooked through, tasted great, zero complaints. But as of the last 6+ months, the salmon has been raw in the middle. I would ask in my order notes to please cook it for longer time but they would refuse to and make me cancel my order. I loved the food there but I am immunocompromised so I will get severely ill if I eat raw fish. Not once have I received compensation for the raw meals.

Last night was a complete miss for dinner. We had a group of 10. Food was so very bland. Chef didn’t give anyone any sauce. We had to ask for it and waiter brought it after food almost eaten. Chef at the table next to us was very different (in a good way). Prob just an off night but would not recommend based on tonight. Our waiter was great and noodles were great. Filet, shrimp, and fried rice was not. (The fire pic was from the table beside us.)

This is a great place to eat in Fayetteville! The firecracker roll is always a good appetizer and the crab rangoon is perfect. The avocado chicken salad is also really good. The servers here always do a fantastic job. Want to give a shoutout to Ryan who was our server today. He is one of the best servers we have ever had at a restaurant. Extremely polite and professional. Overall good food and atmosphere. Will definitely keep coming back here in the future!
