At Imperfecto we believe that human beings are not perfect. We are far from perfect. We are Imperfect. And it’s imperfection what moves us forward and shows us how to improve. During Restaurant Week, I enjoyed an amazing dinner. First the impeccable server brought an amuse-bouche of a small glass cup of an intensely flavored warm mushroom soup. My appetizer selection of the Ceviche included 3 poached shrimp in a tangy light spicy dressing topped with sweet potato straws and accompanied by paper thin slices of rye toast. My entree selection of the Duck Magret was delicious, a large (6+ ounce) slice of duck breast cooked perfectly with a jus pool large enough to dip each bite. My dessert selection of the poached pear with vanilla ice cream on a bed of streusel was delectable. AWith the check, the server brought 2 delightful fruit gels. Although the portions were on the small side (except the marvelous duck breast), I was pleased to have enjoyed a full meal for the fixed price.

Imperfecto is an upscale destination blending Mediterranean and Latin American flavors. The space is impressive, with bright and clean marble surfaces that set the tone for a high-end experience.

The Food (Bar Visit):
We stopped by the bar for appetizers and drinks, and even in a short visit, the kitchen’s Michelin pedigree was obvious.

Moussaka Cigars: A standout dish. The outer shell of the phyllo dough was delicate and airy, providing a crunch against the filling. The mixture of smoky eggplant, ground lamb, and cheese was rich and creamy.

Madai Crudo: Beautifully presented, the delicate sea bream was wrapped around avocado and set in a green pool of aguachile. Served with a tostada, it was a fresh and bright bite.

Service:
⭐️ The service was impeccable. The staff was formally dressed and extremely well-versed in the menu. Special thanks to our bartender, Wilber, for sharing his extensive knowledge of the dishes and drinks.

Tip:
The full Michelin Degustation Experience is currently offered only at 7:00 PM (Wednesday through Saturday). Recommend planning reservations accordingly.

Overall:
An upscale venue offering delicious food and polished service. Perfect for special occasions or impressive business meals. Look forward to returning for a full dinner.

Four of us had a business dinner at Imperfecto tonight, and tonight it was perfetto! Being a Wednesday night, we were permitted to bring in two bottles of wine and pay corkage. We brought in a special bottle of left bank Bordeaux and a Burgundy from Chablis and the chef created a tasting menu around our wines and based on our preferences. The highlights were the pasta with white truffles and the rib eye with seared foie gras. The amuse bouche of mushroom soup was just perfect for a cold evening. Combined with the excellent service and the beautiful space, I would say the experience was sublime and we would all highly recommend Imperfecto as they were closer to perfection tonight though they make it known that perfection is impossible.

We went here for a restaurant week. The menu was great! I felt like it was good quality and service for the price. Their cocktails are super fun as well. Highly recommend getting one. Don’t sleep on this place!

Went to Imperfecto during the restaurant week and we enjoyed our meal very much. The server was elegant, polite, and friendly. Every dish was well seasoned and beautifully presented. All the flavors were so well balanced.

Upscale dining experience with a creative menu and beautifully presented dishes. Service was excellent.
I was a bit disappointed by the food itself which felt less delicate and refined than I would expect at this level. Some combinations were less to my taste ( Burrata and Hummus) some food was not perfectly cooked.

Street parking limited, no valet parking. You might park at ritz and get it validated MAY BE.
Has patio seats. Inside is noisy and loud not sure why.
Food is ok
MOUSSAKA CIGAR so so nothing surprise.
TIGER PRAWNS “A LA DIABLO” good a bit spicy
COCHINILLO outside is a bit hard inside is good tender and juicy. And this is pricy
Main course is slow somehow on Sunday night takes about 20-30 mins.
Bus boy is pretty attentive clean the table and change the silver ware very often, water is refilled quickly! Great job.

Absolutely unforgettable experience at Imperfecto.

We visited DC for the first time this weekend and ended up dining at Imperfecto two nights in a row, it was that amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special; on our second visit, they surprised us with a welcome-back card with our names and a handwritten message.

Every dish was perfection, from the Madai Crudo and Tiger Prawns à la Diablo, to the Lamb Terrine, each plate felt like a work of art. But the real showstopper was the Pistachio & Yogurt dessert truly life-changing (do NOT miss this if you go)

Even without a reservation our first night, they found us seats at the bar, and the service was just as thoughtful as when we returned for dinner the next evening. Marcos, the bartender prepared the best drinks (imperfecto club) for us.

Imperfecto is hands-down the best restaurant in Washington, DC. Can’t wait to return.

we started the meal with the beet salad and the prawns. The beet salad was pretty good, so maybe didn’t rock my world. However, the prawns sauce was a prelude of things to come so when the lamb arrived turned out to be amazing . The whole experience was elevated to a high level. It always is wonderful to know that there’s a chef in the kitchen who really loves his craft – together with a nice Margaux red Imperfecto delivered with beautiful service and a nice ambiance. Alexis and his team are really doing a superb job. Highly recommended and three Michelin stars, what else can I say?

All I could think of is Class and Elegance from the moment I walked in and dined at this place!

The maximum rating is five star , but I wish there were more stars I could put as a rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was impeccable!

I told our waiter Fernando that I had to be at a show at the Capital One Arena and all I had to do was utter those words and it was like a dream come true! He told us not to worry and that we were going to make it to where we were going!

He was 100% accurate! He made it happen for us!

I felt like my table was specifically watched by every server in there! Our food came on time, plates were removed and replaced as we were done eating each course seamlessly.

I want to describe the quality of food I had in this place to the best of my knowledge!

I have never tasted a Wagyu that just melted on my tongue from the first bite!♥️♥️ The prawns were excellent and not to mention the amazing Moussaka Cigar( it was filled with ground lamb and other ingredients). The flavors were coming from everywhere. I was bedazzle by the delicious courses we order and service we received!

No wonder this is a Michelin star restaurant! Well deserved!
It is perfect for date night, group gathering, etc..

They do not offer valet parking, but I was able to park at the Ritz Carlton and my ticket was validated by Fernando before we left!

The service was superb!
I highly, highly recommend this restaurant! It is an experience, PEOPLE!♥️♥️
