Absolutely an amazing dining experience, truly loved every moment from beginning to end.
The ambience and attention to detail throughout the restaurant are stunning. We started with cocktails that set the tone perfectly, followed by the unforgettable tako/octopus toasts, such bold, delicious flavors.

The nights special were beef ribs, a fantastic surprise — tender, rich, and impossible to stop eating. The ahi/snapper ceviche was one of the best tartare-style dishes I’ve ever had; those fried crackers were dangerously addictive!

The mafaldine pasta with the mushrooms was perfectly cooked and well seasoned!

The Westholme wagyu New York strip steak had incredible flavor from the grill — perfectly seared, juicy, and full of character. And to finish, the matcha tiramisu with white chocolate was the perfect ending — light, creative, and beautifully balanced.

A truly memorable meal from start to finish.

We visited KOAST for a large Christmas Eve dinner and it was easily one of the most outstanding dining experiences we’ve had on Maui. We were celebrating three birthdays that night, and the team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was top-notch for our group.
The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all incredible, but the service really set the night apart. A huge thank you to David, who was an exceptional server; he handled our large party with such care and professionalism. Everyone had a wonderful time.
From the delicious cocktails (like the one pictured!) to the excellent food, this is a “must-eat” spot. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant came highly recommended on Reddit and google reviews, but we were not super impressed with the food. We shared the dry aged wagyu ribeye that was supposed to be 20ounces and it felt smaller than that, and the crust was very overpowering with charcoal flavor (some may like this, we did not). The octopus toast was okay, but an incredibly small portion for $30. Miso cabbage was the best thing we ordered, and $15 for one quarter head of cabbage is wild. Drinks were okay.

booked this for a birthday meal, and while the atmosphere is nice, i would not spend $300 on this meal again. I do have to give credit to our server who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu.

My favorite restaurant in Maui, tucked in Wailea Village next to Choice on the same level as Akami coffee. Not only is there amazing food here, it is such a fun place to hang out. The bar area is my go-to but whenever I have guests in town or want to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to bring them. Great for large parties or an intimate date night. It is beautifully designed with its huge lanai which wraps around the entire exterior, best to arrive around 5pm for an outdoor spot but anywhere even inside you can see a spectacular sunset.

The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is next level at affordable prices for a high end restaurant. Cocktails here are always fun and thirst quenching. The menu refreshes often but the staples remain such as whole fish, Lopes farm pork and dry-aged wagyu steak. Current go-to is ahi tuna, collard greens and ribeye. The rigatoni is so good here too. Always ask about the specials and save room for dessert. Great for my vegetarian friends as they only source fresh from local farms here in Maui. Whether you live in town or just visiting definitely put this on your to-do list. Check it out!

On our first night in Maui, we were searching for a fine-dining hidden gem and stumbled upon this restaurant through Google Maps and what a wonderful find it turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a beautifully curated ambience that perfectly captured the relaxed yet elegant island vibe.
We ordered the Jidori Chicken and the wagyu pasta, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The chicken was incredibly tender and packed with deep, well-developed flavor, easily some of the best chicken I’ve had in Hawaii. The wagyu pasta was equally impressive, with a rich, savory depth balanced by a natural sweetness from the tomatoes that tied everything together seamlessly.
The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the meal was extremely satisfying, with generous portions that felt more than worth the price.
If you’re looking for at least one fun, memorable place to check off as a win on your Maui trip, this is absolutely the one. It’s a true hidden gem, and I’m so glad we came across it during our visit.

Koast came highly recommended from our hotel concierge and did not disappoint. This extremely well appointed restaurant has a little of the cache of a Nobu or Zuma but excels in laid back Maui charm. I enjoyed an off menu pink snapper with macadamia nut and local vegetables and the dish was sooo fresh it paid tribute to the owners’ policy of delivering farm fresh produce with imagination and élan. The owner Jason strikes the right balance of attentiveness and information and has the perfect personality to make new customers feel immediately at home. This was one of the best meals I have had in the past two or three years. A superb establishment. 10/10

Koast was without a doubt the best meal we had on Maui.

The knowledge the service team had regarding every element of the menu, wines, and their specials was extraordinary; the whole experience they created felt special. As someone who does not live on Maui, I would highly recommend Koast over some of the more infamous spots with thousands of reviews.

The food was exceptional.

Ordered:
– Heart of palm + celery Caesar
– Crispy Calamari
– Crispy fried potatoes
– Chicken piri piri
– Rigatoni with wagyu ragu

All were extremely flavorful and delicious!

The restaurant setting was picturesque at sunset, modern, and unique. We’d be regulars if we could. Don’t miss a chance to eat here; highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing time at Koast! Since it’s new, it has a very updated and modern interior. The food was excellent – you should definitely get the pineapple dessert if you go. Super unique and I’ve never had anything like it. Their cocktail menu is also very comprehensive and their spicy margarita was one of the better ones I’ve had!

Really nice out door seating upstairs over looking the open air mall. Alcoholic drinks are on the pricier side at $22+ each (Had the cherry old fashion and a glass of white wine). Waiter was friendly and helpful with recommendations, but service was sporadic throughout and the wait between courses was overly long. We had the beat/strawberry salad that was delicious and a great start, pork belly which was amazing, and octopus toast (which wasnt very good at all). There is a pineapple shortage and the speciality pineapple dessert (which was the main reason we picked this place) was unavailable and a big dissapointment. We finished with the strawberry/ passion fruit panna cotta which was just ok and had some extremely bitter natural flowers throughout, I would pass on it in the future. Over all decent for an upscale restaraunt, but we both left feeling we wouldnt come back.

We stopped here for dinner on our last night of our Maui vacation. This is a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, beautiful ocean views during the sunset hour. As usual, we over ordered food and drinks but everything was delicious. The starter dishes were yummy and the two different fish dishes we ate for the main course were also good. The server was friendly and knew everything about the menu. If you are in the Wailea area, I recommend trying out this restaurant for a great dinner.
