This is not your buffet style Chinese restaurant.
This is an upper scale fine dining experience. The wait staff was very attentive. The owner himself checked on us.
The building is spectacular inside. Nicer than any cruise ship dining room. The parmigiana crusted chicken and Monterey chicken are fabulous. Priced at only $14 each. Fresh crunchy green beans home made Mac n cheese. A complete salad bar with multiple soups free with every entree.
Only negative is the pepsi over coke but that is just a preference issue.
My server Joe, gets a special compliment due to his outstanding service. I rarely leave positive waiter reviews but he deserves it. Great Job Joe!!!! I appreciate your attentiveness and knowledge of the menu.

The food was AMAZING! The server we had on the other hand was rough. Almost like his first night but he said he had been serving awhile. But the serving size you get for the price you can’t beat it. The teriyaki steak mmmmmmm I will highly recommend this! And the fountain with fish is cool.

We loved It! Great steaks that are cooked perfectly! Portion sizes are beyond big and that doesnt included the soup and salad bar!. I’ve never been so excited for leftovers. Ask for Tanner! He was awesome!

China KO, the huge building, formerly home to a vast buffet behind Shipley Donuts on FM 1960 and Timber Forest Drive has converting to Steak and Comfort Food.
Some time and attention is needed to convert the look of the restaurant into a steak house. You’re basically sitting in a huge banquet hall surrounded by unused Buffett tables and Chinese restaurant decorations… But hey, they played country music.

We will definitely be going back! We met our Church group for our weekly bible discussion and they were more than accommodating! The food was excellent! I had the 6oz fillet and it was so amazingly tender and well cooked! The salad bar was fresh and crisp and the tortilla soup was a tad spicy but full of wonderful flavor! Our glasses were never empty and our wonderful server was attentive. If you’re wondering if you should give them a try, the answer is yes go try them out you will NOT be disappointed! Oh the owner’s son I believe came over introduced himself and just made you feel comfortable! He was familiar with one of our group members and referred to him by name. It was really a wonderful experience! I think it’ll be our new date night dinner place!!
