Knox Dough is a nice little shop providing some nice treats and a nice variety for some varied tastes. The Pizza Cone is a unique twist on a hand-held pizza, though initial thoughts were that it would be a neater means of eating but that is not necessarily the case. Have some napkins ready. The pizza dough had good flavor and there is a fair amount of filling. The edible cookie dough (that they are named for) is delicious and has some nice options of flavors. Though served like ice-cream, by the scoop, it definitely has the dough consistency with a slight airiness whipped in. The Bubble Waffle was delicious, particularly while it was hot with a little of the cookie dough and ice cream starting to melt into it. It makes for a nice shareable dessert. The scroll ice cream was good, but would be better with some other flavor profiles.

This was a real treat! I am not quite the cookie dough person, so I am not including my rating for food, but I am reflecting that of my family that is into this. First, the place is super cute with really friendly and fun staff. They have a nice variety of flavors as well and some nice portion sizes. However, be prepared for this to be close to real cookie dough, but not quite really it. It has a bit different texture due to the lack of eggs, and you can’t actually make cookies from it. Now I know that isn’t the goal, but some of those ingredients do change the flavor and texture. Overall they did like it, and it’s great to try new places and judge for yourself. Go give it a try!

Driving through Knoxville back to Charlotte and stopped into this ice cream shoppe. I’ve never heard rolled ice cream. I asked them to surprise me and make me something chocolate and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly service as well!!

We brought our family of eight to Knox Dough for the first time, and had a good experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, patiently explaining the ordering process and even offering samples to the kids (always a win!). While the wait time is a bit longer than your average ice cream shop, the employees were efficient and got everyone’s orders out quickly. We entertained ourselves while we waited, with the selection of games they had on hand, The atmosphere was nice and we had a great time. Thanks!
