The BLT is the best I have had anywhere. Good flavor, plenty of mayo. Lots of fries. My husband had a sampler platter. He was happy with the amount of food and had trouble finishing. The pricing was excellent for what we got. Service was friendly. We will be back.

My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time on 1/18. THE FIRST OF MANY TIMES!!!
We ordered the fried pickles, and they were the best ones we’ve ever had.
We also ordered mini corn dogs, and we got pretzel bites by accident they let us keep them, no charge and we got the mini corn dogs and man they were good too!
I had got a chicken club, I thought I was getting a fried sandwich came grilled but was still really good.
My girlfriend ordered boneless wings and she said they were really good and Sunday they have 10 for 10 wings.
Our servers were nice and we had a great time!
Can’t wait to return soon! 🙂

My friends and I came in to celebrate a birthday and it was our first time coming to Pub and grill knockout bar. Off rip the male bartender was already acting funny towards us, not being helpful when asking about drinks and automatically starting a tab without telling me, then charged us for a pool table that was supposed to be free??

The straw that broke the camels back was the bartender said if each and every one of us didn’t get a drink then he wanted us to leave. But over half of our group had already bought a drink or was going to buy drinks.

Never coming back to this bar again, extremely rude all throughout the night.

What Average Joe’s lacks (employees), it makes up for in their good and friendly service, great bar food and drinks, and very fair prices.

They currently lack employees (what restaurant isn’t). The bartender has to do her job to tend the bar, and be a server to the whole place. We came up to the bartender to ask for menus, and we sat outside and looked it over, then had to go back inside to order. It was a bit inconvenient, but you gotta do what you gotta do when restaurants are short staffed. The bartender was really friendly and attentive, and she did a great job juggling both responsibilities. When she wasn’t busy slinging drinks, she would check up on guests on the patio and get us refills.

The menu consisted of what you would consider typical bar food. We started off with half an order of Joe’s Garbage Can, which as you can see in my pictures is huge! It had a ton of chicken and tater tots covered in every topping I could think of. The half portion was really filling, especially for 2 people. The Southwest Salad looked delicious (I didn’t get to try, I know, how rude), and my Buffalo Chicken Wrap was amazing as well. We couldn’t finish our meals after consuming a garbage-can-amount of food for appetizer, so we boxed them up.

We also ordered 2 drinks each, and my bill ended up being only $50. Everything was under $10, so it was really affordable and fairly priced.

I came in at around 12AM and made it clear that I was there to get a couple drinks and make my way out. The bartender Maddy repeatedly questioned me on where I was living, asked me personal questions, and really came off as interrogative. I gave polite responses to prevent any tension from arising and quitely scrolled through Instagram on my phone whenever she walked away (I’m more on the antisocial side). Despite all of this, I still tipped $10.00 on a $4.00 order (the drinks were great quality) and was polite throughout the entire encounter. Once she took the receipt, she proceeded to call me “shady” and refused to believe that I was being truthful with my responses. I politely asked what I did wrong and her response was “you were perfectly fine and did nothing wrong, you just seem shady.” I wanted to get another drink, but she told me it was last call and that they were closing early tonight at 1AM. Despite not knowing what I did wrong, I apologized for making her feel that way and promptly left the bar to avoid any issues. While walking my dog (I live in the new apartments that are in the same plaza), noticed that none of the cars were gone by 1:15AM and that I had been lied to. I really didn’t like that she made me feel that way when all I wanted to do was order a couple drinks and leave. I never flirted with her, never started a conversation, never talked to any of the other patrons, sat on the opposite end of the bar, and minded my own business the entire time. I want to come back again because it’s 500 feet from where I live, but I don’t feel like I’m welcome there anymore. I’ve been there a couple times during the day and ordered food that I really enjoyed, but never at night until today. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt so singled out and offended that I had to say something.

We went there one evening and the bar tender was obviously drunk. It was to the point he was almost incoherently drunk. He got our drinks mixed up and at the end of the night charged people for things other people bought. I found out later it wasn’t the regular bar tender, that it was actually the owner. Also had a situation where a friend went there and she swears she was drugged. She was unable to walk or make sense when she spoke after 1 drink. It was so bad I had to pick her up and drive her car home. Which this is not typical for this person they are not a light weight by any means.

Got food poisoning here within a few hours. I’m sure their kitchen is filthy. The beer from the tap wasn’t stale it was sour. Avoid this establishment at all costs

“Average” Joe’s
(Long review tldnr at bottom)
The Name sums it up. Nothing special here but the pricing to get you in the door.
Read both good and bad to make your own opinion.
The good
$2 domestic draft beers before 7 as well as various other drink specials throughout the week. And $2.50 modelo draft all day every day.
25 Cent “jumbo”wings on sundays and mondays max of 20
This means 20 wings and 2 beers before 7 is only $9 before a tip!
The Bad
The “Jumbo” wings are the smallest I’ve ever seen(used a tator tot in photo for reference…they also have a “skinny wing”..), almost no meat and just a hair from being called dry. The flavor was not bad but lacking. Both the hot garlic and garlic parm would be considered average at best. Even with 12 wings and an appetizer I was not full.
My experience.
I’m mixed on my overall experience. the food was misleading and lacking. But the wings and beer are cheap and just wanting a quick drink and food with your buddy without breaking the bank You can’t beat it.
Just don’t expect to want to tell all your friends.
Issues
Me and my friend arrived before happy hour eneded and ordered 2 beers each to make sure we got happy hour price as well as ordered 20 wings.
They only made us 12 wings each and by the time we realized, it was already late to be asking for 8 more.
Come to the check we both got charge for 4 beers and only my check had the proper pricing. (This was easily resolved with the waitress)
Tldnr:
Cheapest place for beer and a quick bite on mondays before 7pm. Sad and small wings at 25 cents each $2 drafts. Average and cheap.

First, the service is awesome. The food is pretty cheap but surprisingly it is not frozen crap, or it doesn’t taste like it anyway. It’s basically normal bar food and the menu was pretty small but everything we had was good, for what it was and what you would expect at a bar. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We were there for karaoke night and everybody had a blast. The food did take a little bit of time but we had 14 people and a bunch of appetizers and there was a full bar with one bartender and one guy I think who was the cook and helping serve at the bar. All of the patrons inside were friendly and chill, no trouble makers, no belligerent drunks. Most sang or watched the game on one of their many TVs. There is a pool table also, but just one.

Overall it is a really nice little place with a corner bar kind of feel to it. They have things to do like trivia on Mondays and karaoke on saturday. The food is not Gourmet but it’s good for a bar and the price is good. And it’s the best service I’ve had anywhere in a long time, with a staff who seem like genuinely nice people, not just getting paid to be polite

Spencer was our bartender & was friendly & attentive. The food was very good and arrived quickly. The atmosphere is a higher quality sports bar and the area was spacious with an outdoor patio. I recommend trying it out.
