We chose Combo 2 for the beef selection and it didn’t disappoint. The variety of beef cuts was well-balanced, from juicy beef belly to tender short rib. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned without being overwhelming. The grill setup produced very little smoke, which I really appreciated. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Prices are reasonable for Ktown standards, especially for the quality. A good spot if you’re looking for a reliable Korean BBQ with a focus on beef.

Tried KKONDAE K-BBQ and ordered the Small Beef Combo and really enjoyed the variety of beef. It came with brisket, beef belly, bulgogi, and boneless short rib, and each cut was solid. The brisket and beef belly were nicely marbled and super flavorful on the grill, while the bulgogi was tender with just the right amount of seasoning. The boneless short rib was my favorite — juicy, meaty, and great on its own with just salt and sesame oil. Portions were enough for two and the banchan and stew that came with the combo were a nice bonus. Overall, the beef quality was very good and definitely worth ordering if you’re here for K-BBQ.

Came here for BBQ and somehow the beef offal ended up being my favorite thing. The grilled intestine was super tasty, and that garlic dipping sauce is crazy good. The rice cakes and potatoes got all crispy on the grill — so good.

We got Combo Three and it was way more filling than I expected. And honestly, the fried rice at the end was the highlight — they mix it with the leftover beef intestine and it turns out insanely good.

The vibe here is super cozy, kind of like the Korean drama Reply 1988 — very warm and nostalgic.

The side dishes were plentiful, and they even had a special dipping sauce that went perfectly with the meat — super flavorful!
We got the beef combo, which was ¥89.9 (the pork and beef intestine combos are ¥79.9). Honestly, the set was a great deal. Ours came with four kinds of meat, a soup, and a “shake shake” rice — enough to feed about three people. We also added an order of beef tongue — fresh, tender, and really high quality.
The staff helped grill the meat for us and the service was excellent.

What really stood out was the vibe — the place was full of Korean diners, which made it feel super authentic. The blue frog mascot is adorable, and the decor gives off serious K-drama energy. It’s the perfect spot to chill with friends over soju and good food.

KKONDAE K-BBQ is a standout in Koreatown. I tried their combo 2 and was thoroughly impressed. The meat selection included thin pork belly, hanging tender, brisket, and bulgogi and fried rice. Every cut was grilled to perfection by a waiter who took care of all the grilling, ensuring each piece was bursting with flavor. If you’re looking for high-quality Korean BBQ with generous portions and a relaxed vibe, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

This place really changed my mind about pork belly. It was really the best pork I’ve ever had. So good I went twice already. The prices are reasonable. $22-35 range. These days all the kbbq spots are around $55-65 which is crazy. Any ways for the food:

Must get is the thick pork belly. It comes out smoked and they cook it for you on the grill. The servers cook it for you till is crispy golden on the outside and tender on the inside. It’s the best pork belly you’ll ever have.

Pork skin is a must order. Not to be confused with pork fat.. the skin is all collagen. It’s cooked till crishpy and chewy. Make sure you do it with the powder dip they give you. It’s sooo good.

The marinated pork spare ribs were also juicy and very flavorful. It was not salty or sweet so it was perfect for me.

The kimchi gooksoo was very refreshing and went soooo well with the meats, esp the thick pork belly.

You can’t forget the K-Dessert. The Namul fried rice is a must at the end. They cook it for you and the portion is big so I ended up taking the leftovers home both times.

This was our first time here and I can tell this place was very authentic right when the sides started coming in. PORK quality was S Tier. Although Ive only been to Korea as a tourist and Im not Korean. No place and taste made me feel like Im in Korea like it did here, like home, the Korean home. I didn’t get to tell the employees that I will see them next week. Im impressed.

It’s the old yangmani spot, so I’m glad the food is still good. Their intestines combo was great. Might be the new go to spot for it.
