Food is comfort food. Husband had Ettouffe and grill vegetables and enjoyed it. Very large place. Salad bar is small but is included with dinners.

Don’t serve gumbo any more. We’re out of baked potatoes, sweet potatoe fries, & half pound hamburgers. Ribeye and chicken strips were great.

We haven’t been here for years. I wanted fried catfish and remembered this restaurant north of Moss Bluff.
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly waitstaff. We ordered Fried Mushroom as an appetizer and the plates as s loaded, full. We ate quite a few when I remembered about the pics fb ie yall. So be prepared there were a lot more than shows in my photos.
She offered us cocktail sauce or tarter sauce, I love them with Ranch dressing, like most restaurants provide. We ordered the same plate, one with fries. Other with onion rings which came with the salad bar.
While there I ate small portions of salad, fresh and crisp, macaroni salad which was homemade, very good. Not too much mayo on it. It was just right. I noticed the dressings. Later when Fried Mushrooms came o tried cocktail sauce, didn’t like that. I went to the salad bar and hot some ranch dressing.
Now the fried mushrooms were wonderful

Our main course was roll, excellent, warm and fresh. 2 pieces of fish, was catfish, 2 fried jumbo shrimp and 2 fried oysters. We shared fries and onion rings. Everything was excellent from presentation to taste.
I took home most of my food because it was so much, and had a bit late night as a snack. They gave us sauces to take home, I took my ranch home, too. As a last treat she asked if we wanted drinks to go which I did. The iced tea was wonderful

Absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious!! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great too. Very quiet and cozy. We had seafood pistolettes. They were full of crawfish, shrimp and crab. The best pistolettes I’ve ever had!!

Nice variety for your “seafood fix”. Consistent in both food quality and friendly service. Nice atmosphere/design, in terms of set up/ layout *(I believe it’s still the same or very similar, structurally, as it was for Catfish Cabin).
I’ve ‘dined in’ several times, ordered take out, maybe once or twice. I will continue to support Kjun Boo’s when I’m in the area and have a craving for seafood that’s fried, stuffed, etc. Thumbs up from me and family members/friends that frequent here. Keep up the great work!

My husband has been wanting to try this restaurant. There was no one in the parking lot. Hostess looked annoyed to be working. Sat us in a corner. That’s fine. Waitress said she didn’t know much because she was new. Ehh. Gonna be great. The food was not homemade. It tasted like frozen food heated up. My loaded chicken baked potato came where I had to assemble myself and the chicken was so bad I couldn’t eat it. My husband is not one that complains about food but he said this was bad. He went to pay and the waitress stood there on her phone for 2-3 minutes before acknowledging him. Won’t waste money here again.

Visiting from Georgia and some family members could not wait to take us there and now I know why! The only thing that was better than the food was the service! We showed up in a large group and were seated right away! It is very hard to wait on that many people but our server did it and did it well! I even bought 5 bottles of their delicious seasoning! This place is a home run!
