The full bar menu is solid, with drinks that hit the mark whether you want something classic or something with a twist. One of my favorite parts? The “Roll Ritual” cinnamon rolls they offer on weekends—yes, including Ube—which are absolutely delicious. If they’re available, make sure to try one.
The staff are consistently friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which really adds to the relaxed vibe. It doesn’t feel forced; it feels like folks who enjoy what they’re doing and want you to enjoy it too.
We revisited recently with our young adults, and it worked out great—they had great food, fun drinks, and we all felt comfortable. For watching Sunday night football (especially if the Vikings or Packers are playing), brunch, or just a casual night out—it’s a spot I’ll happily recommend.
Sweet potato fritters, mushroom taco, burgers, and fries.
Food was great and the service was spot on.
Say goodbye to basic cream cheese and hello to complex, rotating flavors like the incredibly aromatic Orange Cardamom Roll or the striking Ube Cream Cheese Roll. The dough itself is delightful and satisfyingly dense yet fluffy, providing the perfect canvas for their inventive toppings.
The Apple Fritter ✨
This is the sleeper hit! Kizzo’s Apple Fritter is surprisingly light, managing a perfect contrast between its craggy, crisp exterior and a soft, pillowy interior packed with apple. The real genius is the glaze: they use amazing vanilla paste to create a sophisticated, fragrant sweetness that takes this classic from simple donut-shop grab to a refined treat.
The Verdict: Kizzo is the spot for the pastry aficionado who wants high-quality, expertly executed treats that push the boundaries of flavor!
For drinks, we had a martini and old fashioned. They serve them with your glass, and the actual cocktail in a small bottle for you to pour yourself. It’s unique and a fun presentation. Bonus points for the “Kizzo” ice cube in the old fashioned. Both drinks were very good- the martini had vodka and gin, and the pimento in the olives were piquant and delightful.
For our food, we had the fried chicken sandwich with salad, and the Cooper burger with fries. The chicken sandwich was so so, a bit dry. But the salad (which is not yet on the menu) was very good, using fresh mixed greens. The dressing seemed to be house made and had a kick of cilantro to it.
The Cooper burger was the star. 2 smashed patties with creamy white American cheese, a wonderful aioli and delicious house made pickles on a shiny bun. It melts in your mouth and is one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. The pickles give kimchi/asian cucumber salad vibes in the best way. It is pricey at $19 however it was worth it to me, and definitely not a regular thing. The drinks were fairly priced as well – $12 martini at the time of this writing.
The fries left something to be desired, they were nothing special.
For dessert we had a chocolate cinnamon roll and it was perfect. Warm and gooey on the inside and a great treat.
I hope to visit again soon and try out a few other things- the wings in particular looked pretty amazing!
I highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower in particular. It has a great crispness to the cauliflower itself rather than depending on breading.
I love when I find a restaurant like this that has excellent food and thoughtful attentive service, but it’s a more relaxed atmosphere
Lots of attention to detail. We’re looking forward to going back
