Kizuki’s food is still prepared the same way as it is in Japan; utilizing a unique method of roasting bones before boiling. Similar to the French style of making consomme, they were the first in the Japanese ramen industry to employ this method. The result is a rich, flavorful broth that is fragrant, and full of depth. Devoted to replicating the incredible flavor of traditional Japanese ramen, if equal substitutes for ingredients are not found within the country, Kizuki Ramen imports the ingredients directly from Japan.

Loved the deep fried tofu here, that was absolutely amazing. Cocktails were very high quality as well. The rest of the food, ramen, assorted tempura, and gyoza was all very good. Definitely would like to go back to this place. Service was fast and friendly too.

I’ve been a patron of their Northgate location since 2014 before they rebranded from “Kukai” to “Kizuki.” I often go to this location now inside the Tacoma Mall.
Their garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen is still my absolute go-to in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. The rich umami broth, melt-in-your-mouth pork chashu, perfectly soft-boiled eggs, and chewy noodles are always spot on. I do recommend choosing the lower-sodium broth, since the regular one can be quite salty.
Their croquettes, takoyaki, curry, and karaage are also great. I love that they offer several noodle types: thin, wavy, flat, shirataki, and even kale. The wavy noodles are my favorite, with shirataki a close second.
This place is almost always packed, but the wait is worth it. Service can occasionally be hit-or-miss, but overall still pleasant.

I Ordered food online and was suprise and delighted at how well it was packaged and presented. Very pretty, the serving size feels good and worth the money. The meat was so tender and my potato croquette was so crunchy and soft. I cant wait to order again to try more options. My only worry is that there seems to be random noodles that got into the edamame and if someone has gluten issues this would be a problem.

I have often ordered from this location but not as frequently as I have in the last year, since moving out to the base of Mt. Rainier. On my way back home tonight on my hour long drive back to the mountain, I decided to place an online order for pick up for two bowls of ramen and a side of Geso Karaage.
I have never received this little in a box before during previous take out orders and am GREATLY disappointed as I live 1 hour through back country roads and will likely not be calling to inform them that it looks like someone ate half my order already and I can’t just swing back to pick up more.
Idk if they were busy, idk if they changed their portion size but there is literally 5 pieces of squid in this box, and that was not the case a couple of months ago.

The food came so quick I had the garlic tonkatsu ramen with fish cake and a pork bun. The pork was sooooo soft and flavorful and the sauces that came with it were so good. The ramen was rich and flavorful and really full filling. This place is beautifully decorated and the staff are very welcoming!
