Born and raised in Taishan, Guangdong China, Zhi and Kenneth Tan came from humble beginnings. From bus boys to modern day restaurant owners, their passion and dedication for the pursuit of authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisine have driven them to explore the world and finally open their own restaurant to show their local town of Chicopee, Massachusetts what it feels like to eat like a local in their hometown.

Loved our food . And the portions were hugh with great presentation and excellent waitress. Wait time was perfect. Drinks were Phenomenal will definitely be back. That’s a 2 thumps up. Highly recommend the Cucumber Socki martini. No picture they drank it to fast.

First time visiting after a hanful of recommendations. The food was okay, but the quality of the fish were not A+. However the chef definitely knows how to make everything taste good, and I would recommend this place to people who do not have high standards to sushi and sashimi. They have big portions, so it is definitely worth visiting!

Heard about this place from a friend who is a server there. Decided to try it out with my wife and it was really nice. The food was very tasty and different from any of the local Asian restaurants in the surrounding areas. As soon as you enter, it’s a warm, inviting vibe with beautiful decor and the smell of delicious food being prepared. Service was great, but if I’m being honest, I already knew that because I knew my server for years (she used to tend tables at one of my favorite breakfast spots for years, and she’s always awesome). My wife an I are pretty picky so we tried a variety of dishes so we could really get an idea of what Kyomi has to offer. I have to say, we were both pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food good, but the portions left us with plenty to take home (which I will be having today ). This is not a huge place, but thats part of its charm… we will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Went here for dinner with my husband since this place was recommended to us. We both tried the ramen, my husband got the spicy one and I had to to tonkotsu. His was lacking some flavor in the broth while mine tasted good good very salty. I had extra pork belly and it was fine nothing special in flavor or tenderness. We tried the appetizer platter which is your standard overcooked Chinese appetizers plated at a restaurant. Atmosphere was cool and everyone was super nice even they weren’t waiting on us.

I honestly loved their rolls however the main dish was atrocious! They added pre-boiled chicken to what is supposed to be a hibachi style dish and the chicken tastes so so sooooooo bad with this poultry taste of stinkiness….I swallowed them for the protein and to avoid arguing with them. Even dipping the chicken in sauce did not work

Food is awesome! Great environment and service is top notch! So fortunate that I am only a few minutes away! Take Out is just as good as dining in as we order normally! Staff and Owner are very hospitable all the time!!!!!! Love this place!

Fantastic customer service! Golden state roll was amazing(roll on black plate in pic). The Volcano tots were so so so good. Absolutely 1000% recommend. Other rolls tried were Makin’ Bacon(second from left), Tiger Roll(outside) and Chicopee Roll(second from right).

Absolutely disgusting food. I ordered some of the simpler fare, chicken lo mein and a tempura shrimp and sweet potato sushi. The lo mein was some of the worst I’ve ever had in Chinese food, the chicken tasted like a dirty sponge on its own. And worse yet, the noodles themselves were incredibly bland. How they can charge so much for this trash is beyond me. The shirmp tempura sushi had an unpleasant fishy taste that fresh, properly prepared tempura should NEVER have. Not only that but the woman who took our order over the phone rudely hung up without saying good bye and spoke so quickly it was hard to understand when our food would be ready for pick up. If you value decent Chinese food, order from anywhere else but this dump. I’d also like to mention their parking lot is an absolute nightmare to get in and out of. Not worth a second of your time or a cent of your money. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Great little restaurant. Staff is very friendly and it was very comfortable and clean inside. The food was so good and r even got one of their specials they had for sushi and it was amazing!
