They need to warn you from the beginning that the in person orders will be put last place. Or at least let you know the wait will be 90 minutes before you even put in your order. That way the customer can decide whether or not they want to stay. They have their fancy pagers for nothing. Just tell people it’s a 90-minute wait because they are giving phone orders priority. Furthermore, another person came in after I did and his order was given to him first.
The pupusas were good, although I can tell they are not using the correct cheese , it all seeped out and became a big mess. I had to use a spatula to pull them off. The curtido had too much vinegar.
I will order by phone next time if I decide to have pupusas from them again.
I recently stumbled upon this food truck and it’s truly an Oklahoma hidden gem! It was my first time trying pupusas, and now I’m absolutely hooked. The flavors are authentic and incredibly delicious, making each bite a delightful experience. Plus, the prices are so reasonable, you get great value for your money. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!
The food was amazing (pupusas revueltas, yuca con chicharron, cebada drink) FRESHLY MADE
10/10 🙂
Saint Louis. My great aunt lived in Florissant north Saint Louis County I believe. She made the best puposas and curtido! She also could burn some bad bird ( Barbecue chicken) I Don’t really understand how she knew how to make the pupusa because she was from Portugal. The pupsas here are outstanding and I recommend them to Everyone! Worth the wait and the money $. It was good for the memories too!
They’re often filled with meat and cheese, and so they’re pretty rich. This is why they’re usually served with pickled coleslaw, to help balance the heaviness of the pupusa.
And the pupusas I had here were really good! I would definitely recommend giving them a try. They also accept card here which is nice too 🙂
