Yes the younger lady is very friendly. What I did not like and the reason I am writing a review is the wait time. When I went over to ask how much longer the cook was very upset. She said they had a big line up of orders. In the 90 minutes I waited only two or three people came out to pick up. There was an individual waiting already when we arrived who probably waited 90 minutes or more as well. What they need is two more cooks. They even took the time to go get another tank of gas.

They need to warn you from the beginning that the in person orders will be put last place. Or at least let you know the wait will be 90 minutes before you even put in your order. That way the customer can decide whether or not they want to stay. They have their fancy pagers for nothing. Just tell people it’s a 90-minute wait because they are giving phone orders priority. Furthermore, another person came in after I did and his order was given to him first.

The pupusas were good, although I can tell they are not using the correct cheese , it all seeped out and became a big mess. I had to use a spatula to pull them off. The curtido had too much vinegar.

I will order by phone next time if I decide to have pupusas from them again.

A Hidden Gem in Oklahoma!

I recently stumbled upon this food truck and it’s truly an Oklahoma hidden gem! It was my first time trying pupusas, and now I’m absolutely hooked. The flavors are authentic and incredibly delicious, making each bite a delightful experience. Plus, the prices are so reasonable, you get great value for your money. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Do not recommend, they took over an hour to get me my food. Did tell the people there and they told me I needed to call beforehand. Don’t waste your time buying here.

This was my first time trying pupusas and they were excellent! Made from scratch. The plantains and dipping sauces were also fantastic. Delicious horchata. I will absolutely be back! Definitely going on my list of favorite spots to get a good bite to eat.

The puposas were excellent! Just like down home! I am actually from
Saint Louis. My great aunt lived in Florissant north Saint Louis County I believe. She made the best puposas and curtido! She also could burn some bad bird ( Barbecue chicken) I Don’t really understand how she knew how to make the pupusa because she was from Portugal. The pupsas here are outstanding and I recommend them to Everyone! Worth the wait and the money $. It was good for the memories too!

For those who don’t know what a pupusa is, they’re like a hybrid between a quesadilla and a tamale.

They’re often filled with meat and cheese, and so they’re pretty rich. This is why they’re usually served with pickled coleslaw, to help balance the heaviness of the pupusa.

And the pupusas I had here were really good! I would definitely recommend giving them a try. They also accept card here which is nice too 🙂
