A group of four stopped on Valentines day and we opted to eat at the bar. The place is obviously popular as it was PACKED at 11 a.m. Food was very good. I had the special that day and was impressed with the portions. The fries were also very good. Drinks were enjoyed by all, with the Irish Old-fashioned Sweet being a hit. We lucked into a parking spot right out front on the street, though it appeared that there was a smaller lot to one side.

Kitty’s is an absolute must-stop any time you’re in Sturgeon Bay or heading up to Door County. This place has a fun Irish pub vibe. They always have an excellent selection of beers along with fun, creative cocktails, and I especially love that they use real Door County juice in some of their drinks. The Chermosa is truly exquisite and a standout every time.

The food is consistently fantastic and never disappoints. We especially love the lobster roll—it’s always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. That said, the real reason we keep coming back is the Bloody Mary. It’s not just a drink, it’s practically an appetizer all on its own and easily one of the best we’ve ever had.

No matter how many times we visit the area, Kitty’s is always on our list and will continue to be a place we make time for. It’s a staple of our Door County trips and a spot we recommend to anyone passing through.

Great food and drinks! The staff were kind and friendly. I had the tenderloin sliders and they checked ALL the boxes. Hubs had the bloody mary burger, a special of the week. He loved it! We will definitely be back.

Fun spot for drinks or a family lunch. Outdoor patio was cute, but we were plagued by flies our entire meal. Food was below average. Under seasoned and disappointing based on creative menu. Come for drinks and vibes!

We stopped in for lunch on the way up to Sister Bay. The kids’ meals were a great deal. My oldest had the pizza, and he said it was awesome. The kids’ Mac n cheese was nothing special. It looked like a basic Mac out of the box. I had the Dill-light burger, and it was delicious. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather. The boys played in the sandbox until our food came. It was a good experience.

We were on vacation in Door County, staying in Sturgeon Bay, and were trying to find restaurants that allowed you to bring your dog. I found Kitty’s Irish Pub on the “Bring Fido” app. Not only do they allow you to bring your dog, they also make it an experience for your dog. Our server brought out a bowl of water for our dog, and they also have these little cots that your dog can lay on and relax while you’re enjoying dinner. This is the most pet friendly restaurant I have ever been to-and we greatly appreciated the effort they put into making him feel welcome.
Our server and food were great too! We ordered the snake bites for an appetizer, and I had the opened face Reuben, and my husband had the corned beef and cabbage. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions are pretty big. Everything tasted great and was priced reasonably compared to other places in the area. We would definitely come back here when visiting Door County again!

Amazing experience at this restaurant! The breaded exterior of the cheese curds were fried to golden perfection, and the inside was hot and impeccably creamy. Overall, portions were great, and flavor was on point. Our only complaint is about the shrimp tacos, which had a strange texture and flavor. Staff were extremely friendly, and the service was exceptional. We even received complimentary ice cream for the children. Keep up the good work!

First of all we met Kitty and she is absolutely adorable. Second of all the food is sooooo good. I have never had such a good burger in my life before. I end up ordering The Badger. It has been a long time since we’ve been here even dough we live in Sturgeon Bay. The new addition outside makes a big difference because you can sit outside and the garden looks very nice. Service was great. Will definitely go back again. Lastly I have to call Jon and ask him more about the Jonfest 😉

Kitty O’Reillys Irish Pub is proof that looks can be deceiving. The place is gorgeous — inside and out. The décor is stunning, the outdoor patio surrounded by lush plants is picture-perfect, and you walk in expecting an amazing dining experience. And then… you actually eat here.

The service? Nonexistent. Our server walked by our table six times without so much as a glance. When we finally waved her down like we were stranded on an island, she acted annoyed that we dared to ask for a refill, a box, and our check. To top it off, she spilled ranch all over the floor at another table and just… left it there. Nothing says “welcome” like dodging puddles of dressing on your way out.

The food was just as bad. The highlight of the meal — and I wish I were joking — was the side salad. Why? Because the greens were fresh and the tomatoes actually had flavor. The “homemade ranch” was tasty but so watery it could have been bottled as skim milk. The fish tasted like it skipped the “clean me” step before hitting the pan, the garlic potatoes were undercooked little rocks with zero flavor, and the braised beef was literally slapped on mashed potatoes and then drowned in enough gravy to sink a small boat.

This place came highly recommended, which makes the reality even sadder. Kitty O’Reilly Irish Pub has the looks of a five-star spot, but the food and service land it somewhere between a bad diner and a tourist trap. Beautiful setting, wasted potential.

I thought the fish n chips were good, the fries were great. My wife’s fish sandwich was good but messy and hard to eat. The curds were great. We almost left before ordering as we sat for quite a while before first contact.
