This is my third time visiting. The cats were very active today, despite being so close to nap time. (Cats are most active during dawn and dusk so mid-afternoon is usually slower, but is also sunlight-dependant, plan accordingly.) I’d recommend grabbing a coffee and croissant (or lunch) and bringing it with you; I was quite popular. (They didn’t get to eat my snacks but they all were very interested in it) one cat did have a runny nose, and was pretty congested, but that’s to be expected with rescues. Despite the congestion, he was the sweetest, happiest little guy there and took a nap on my lap for almost the entire hour. I’m glad a place like this exists that can showcase cats like him and others looking for adoption in a way that let’s their personality shine, and allows them to form connections without barriers. They have a punch card you can buy, this would be a good gift for Christmas, to use for visiting families with kids who are cat aware, or yourself if you like having a low key brunch or therapeutic lunch break from time to time. It’s a good value. They also have a little consignment shop inside with shirts and stickers, toys, etc.

My husband threw me a surprise birthday lunch at the cafe. We had food brought in and around a dozen people in the cafe at any one time. It was great! The cats were almost all hanging out with us, except one beauty who needed her ZZZs. Ukie and Snuffleupagus were our official bag inspectors, and Zig made sure everyone felt extremely welcomed. For a non-profit just getting started they are doing a fantastic job with what they offer to the public above and beyond just being a place for people to sit and pet cats.

The Kitty Corner is a wonderful organization that helps homeless cats find forever homes, whether it’s at the Café itself or with loving families looking for a feline friend.
There is a City Brew coffee DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET and the Café allows guests to bring outside food and drink (Non-alcoholic) into the café as long as they are careful not to let the feline residents partake in any coffee or muffin nibbles.
They do not make coffee or prepared food on site as the establishment isn’t big enough to have a separate food processing place that wouldn’t be affected by cat hair or dander as per Health and Food Safety regulations. They DO offer packaged food and drink options like bagged chips and bottled water so they aren’t completely lacking for the human wants and they offer as much as they can on site as per safety regulations, hence why I did give them 5 stars for food as they have available what they can.
Again, there is a City Brew and a Subway right across the street so you can just bring your own coffee.
The cats are rescued kitties and they need PLENTY of love and affectionate attention to become socialized. They are all very well taken care of and have plenty of fresh food and water available to them. Some are so happy and comfortable they have retired and become chunky little fluff butts!! So cute!!!
Cats play with teeth and claws, it’s not them being mean it’s just how they are built. Not all cats are “Instagram models” ready and willing to be snuggled and squished with overbearing love. They want loving, adoring pets and head scratches and they want to chase feathers and fluffy balls with an enthusiastic guest! But always on their time and with who they choose. Cats are particular like that and should be respected.
Please go with Cats and their nature in mind and be willing and available for them. They are ultimately innocent and deserving creatures who just want love like the rest of us and the Kitty Corner is doing a great job supplying these fabulous felines with comfortable and safe forever homes.
Reminds me of the old school internet cafe’s on the East Coast. You bring your own drink and laptop and you pay by the hour to use the establishment and WiFi.
This is a similar concept. You b.y.o. food/drink and you pay to play with adoring rescue cats!!!
Thank you Kitty Corner for giving the deserving residents another chance at a comfortable cage-less life!!!

Anyone who would give a place like this a bad review doesn’t understand the purpose of places like this. The work they do and the service they provide are priceless.

The cats here are the friendliest of any cat café I’ve been to, and you can tell they’re very well treated. The people are nice and they definitely enjoy what they do.

Fun experience! I would like to see coffee here since it’s called a cafe… and I feel like some of the kitties were overwhelmed during grand opening due to the sheer amount of people in the space at the same time, but I assume that just depends on the time of day too and that it’ll simmer down with how many people are in the space. The kitties were super cute and the space was clean! Employees were nice and pleasant!

The vibe and staff were both nice, but the cats weren’t really friendly, yes they were cute, but I wouldn’t call them friendly. There was a room where the cats could go into and hide if they needed, but I think it would be nicer if when it wasn’t busy (which it wasn’t), the cats should not be able to go in there. The reason why I say this is because most of the cats were in that room, and only employees were allowed in there. The cats were also not very healthy, one was so exhausted that it slept in a litter box like it was nothing. Then most of the cats I saw barely even moved, and had greasy fur.

Really nice place with really nice cats. Sochi was probably my favorite but the food is kind of lacking. I was expecting a Starbucks like store in the place but it’s just drinks in a fridge and cookies. Overall though, great place for cat lovers if you just want so see furry friends.

probably should actually be open when your hours say you are open. drove all the way to the cafe just to have the door locked. we came at 4:00 p.m. Google says that they should be open, and their stated hours on the door say they should be open. I get that things happen, but if you’re going to close randomly in the middle of the business day at least put a note on your door stating why you were closed. there was a sign on the window that said they would be back at 10:00 a.m. which is just nonsensical.

Not a café, but still a fun place to hang out and pet some friendly cats.
