You get what you pay for – great prices but mediocre food, standard service, concerning hygiene practices, and overall unremarkable.
Let’s start with my concerns over food hygiene practices. Towards the end of my meal there was an accident where a server dropped dishes by the food window/expediting station. The guy at this station did a nice thing by helping the server pick up what was dropped. My issue: he then proceeded to handle food/plates without washing his hands!! If this is the practice of the kitchen staff out in the public dining room then Lord knows what they’re doing behind the scenes. This is how people get sick. It’s pretty simple, if you touch the floor or a dirty object then go wash your hands!
As for the food, it was decent but nothing to write home about and definitely not worth going out of your way. Our table ordered the burger with fries, the Thai chicken bowl, and the Szechuan noodles. There was nothing wrong with the food per se but there also wasn’t anything remarkable about it. My dinner, the Szechuan noodles, I’d compare to the quality of a frozen dinner or really cheap takeout. Super sugary sauce that overwhelmed the plate, small portion, and the chicken tasted hyper processed somehow which I attribute to it likely being cooked way ahead of time and then just dumped on the plate for each order. Just my guess, though.
The service was pretty standard for a restaurant. Our server was lovely but often went missing. Also, given where our table was positioned near a high top servers had to squeeze by the chairs at the tables end, often bumping into my mom’s seat. This is jarring as you’re trying to eat. The one thing to note about the atmosphere is the noise level. I could not hear the person sitting next to me. Between the loud music and the insane amount of noise from diners I couldn’t wait to leave.
Overall, if you want an affordable meal and don’t mind the cons outlined above then it light be worth a visit for you. I, however, cannot recommend this experience.

Kitchen Social is one of my favorite places to go for dinner. Their drinks are good. Food is amazing. Atmosphere is always a good vibe. The staff is fast, knowledgeable about the menu and kind. I recommend getting there before rush hours so you don’t have to wait or make a reservation. In the nicer months the patio is open to the whole restaurant and you feel the nice weather throughout the place. Specialty cocktails and the usual drafts will give you plenty to enjoy.

Kitchen Social in Westlake, Ohio is always amazing. The food never disappoints—everything on the menu is so good. The cauliflower appetizer is always a go-to, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Our waiter, Michael, made the experience even better. He was amazing and so funny, which made the night that much more enjoyable. Great food, great service, and always a great time.

I’d give it a “3.5” rather than a “4” f I could. We came here for a birthday for a casual dinner on a Monday night, nothing too fancy.
Food: I believe we had the chicken farroto, chicken sandwich, chicken katsu, and the shrimp salad. Food was fine, nothing was particularly wrong with it but it most definitely didn’t blow us away. One complained it was too salty. Presentation was really nice considering you’re not at a fancy restaurant or anything. Everything tasted as expected with no issues, although you could definitely make pretty much everything at home. Huge plus is that, comparatively to other places, food was affordable and satisfying enough.
Service: Service was great!! Had Andrew as a server and he took great care of us along with his manager. Had an issue with one of the cocktails not coming out and they replaced it quickly and the best that they could. Really good service!
Atmosphere: It seemed fine- they were playing music and it was pretty packed, which unfortunately led to it being pretty loud and felt like I had to really raise my voice to talk to my girl and her family.
Solid place, nothing crazy, if you like the food or want a quick bite without issues, go for it!

Went to Kitchen Social today and wow… everything was perfect. The seating was beautiful, the decor was gorgeous, and our food came out so fast. The hummus? Hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. Drinks were amazing, service was on point, and the whole vibe just felt fun and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back.

Came here for my birthday with a group of 5. I had made a reservation but the entire group had accidentally gone to the wrong chain. Server was extremely kind and patient about it, even though it took them like 30 minutes to arrive.
The food was super good. Like crazy good. Whoever had the genius idea to put salmon and salad on top of hummus needs a raise. They even gave me a free desert when they found out it was my birthday. I’m definitely going again when I have the budget for it. My only complaint is it was so loud I couldn’t hear anyone on the other end of the table and it kind of ruined the experience for me.

My wife and I have been to A LOT of restaurants in our lifetime. I rarely post a review, but tonight we were treated like royalty. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the environment was excellent and the owner and manager were so personable, kind and genuine. We went for dinner, but we heard that their brunch is AWESOME. If you ever want a great experience, then I highly recommend Kitchen Social in Westlake. The cheddar scallion honey biscuits are a must try! And we look forward to the brown butter cake.

10/10 experience! I had Jacob as my server and he gave us amazing service! He was very considerate and efficient! I have a nut allergy and had forgotten to ask about the ingredients, but he told me about the nuts in the food with no indication! Food was amazing and my son was given a cake for his birthday.
