Some people serve with a smile but am not there for that , I go once a week for their Pastrami or
Roast beef on the Hero.
I absolutely think that are the best in NYc.
And I have eaten at the competition where am told celebrities dine but! I was not impressed. coming here is more than just a sandwich.
It’s satisfying, mouthwatering, Pavlov salivating. I cannot pass the exit on my way to Jersey , I always plan one stop and that’s not for restrooms,
Its to look into the eyes of my beloved friend;my Pastrami
Other notes sugar lover delight; sweet treats nicely displayed and yum yum to the bite.
Love treats you can find. Sugar leaves and edibles petals waiting.
Cashier move quickly, there is no long wait time and food is always tasty.

The food here is very good, and that’s the main reason I keep coming back. However, the pricing is inconsistent. I ordered the exact same items multiple times over the last few days and was charged three different amounts. While the difference was only about $0.50–$1, it’s still frustrating and confusing as a customer.
Orders are not itemized—only the total price is written down—so there’s no easy way to compare or understand the charges. If pricing were more consistent and transparent, this place would be much better overall.

Kitchen Kabaret is hands-down one of my go-to spots in Roslyn for quick, quality food with a neighborhood feel. It’s a well-oiled machine—fast, friendly, and packed with variety. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal or to stock up for the week, it’s got something for everyone.

The food selection is incredible. You’ll find:
• A full gourmet deli with fresh-carved turkey, grilled chicken, eggplant parm, brisket, and more.
• A hot food bar with everything from roasted veggies and pasta dishes to Asian-inspired stir-fries and comforting home-style options like meatloaf or mashed potatoes.
• A massive cold salad station—build-your-own or pre-made classics like Caesar, Mediterranean, quinoa, or beet salads.
• Their thin crust pizza is surprisingly excellent—crispy, flavorful, and available by the slice or pie.
• Great sandwiches and wraps, made fresh and generously portioned.
• A full bakery and coffee bar with delicious pastries, cookies, muffins, and both hot and iced coffee options that actually taste like real coffee (not watered down).

One of my favorite things? They carry Dubai chocolate—yes, the real deal. You’ll find premium imported chocolate bars and beautifully wrapped gifts, making it a perfect stop for a treat or a last-minute gift. That kind of upscale specialty item is exactly what sets them apart.

The vibe inside is busy but upbeat. The place is always packed, especially during lunch and dinner rush. The staff keeps the lines moving quickly, but you really do need to know what you want—this isn’t the place to stand around undecided while everyone else is on a mission.

The parking lot is big, but even that fills up fast. Somehow, though, they keep it running smoothly. Everyone from the cashiers to the kitchen crew is friendly and efficient, and there’s a genuine sense of community.

Bottom line:
It’s busy, it’s bustling, and it’s absolutely worth it. From hot meals and fresh salads to specialty chocolates like the Dubai bars, Kitchen Kabaret brings the deli experience to a whole new level.

Kitchen Kabaret was such a great find, and I’m so glad we stopped in. We went on a friend’s recommendation while heading to a Cowboys–Giants game, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The place has a really cool vibe and an impressive variety of food options—especially for breakfast—so there’s truly something for everyone.
I ordered a pastrami sandwich with eggs and Swiss, and it was delicious. The pastrami was flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the bread was soft, fresh, and held everything together beautifully. It was one of those meals that hits the spot and sticks with you (in the best way).
The cappuccino was decent—not the star of the show—but totally fine alongside the meal. What really stood out was the service: fast, friendly, and efficient, even though the place was packed. That says a lot. You can tell this is a popular spot for a reason.
Overall, Kitchen Kabaret is a fun, bustling place with great food, a wide selection, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before a big game or just looking for a solid morning spot, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I do love the food here. But I really expect the strawberries to be cleaned and cut appropriately for 1499 a pound. This is their big salad. I did call and received an apology. The manager did say they would speak to the chef. Which is OK with me still not a good luck. This is just pure laziness on the chefs part

One of the best places to eat on long island. The staff is friendly and I go there multiple times a week sometimes multiple times a day. You can’t go wrong with kitchen kabaret… to add to this review, we just had 2 events back to back on 7-27-22. Great event. Thank you to management and staff for a job well done! I would add 10 stars if possible!

I was a loyal customer for years, but the service has gone downhill more than once. Staff were rude and dismissive, and for prices this high, that’s unacceptable. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. Disappointing experience overall.

This is the slowest deli on Long Island. 5 people standing in front of grilled and only one person cooking. 4 people in cold sandwiches section and nobody takes order. If I could put negative star l would. Service is the worst I’ve ever seen in any deli

Every Sunday the old man who takes breakfast orders has an attitude, always messes up the order, if I ever come back I will make sure not to order from him, he can’t figure out the difference between to stay and to go. When confronted he has attitude, terrible customer service

4/22/22 Stopped in after dropping off the GF at the salon next door. Got an iced coffee and this sandwich that was noted to be “Carton’s” favorite. A large garlic knot with prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato and fresh basil, heated up in the oven and it was absolutely delicious. Quite possibly could be one of the best sandwiches ever! They will definitely return to have another one of those, and some other food…. At some point.
