Incredible atmosphere, service, and food at an affordable price! Interior captures the “downtown” feel of a night out, right in the neighborhood. Highly recommend the Salsa Di Parma, Smoked Roughy, and Chicken Picatta, as well as the delicious Italian donuts, 10/10!

Service was outstanding. First few days of being open and the staff were friendly and welcoming with the new menu. Laura, the manager, stopped by the table with some amazing suggestions. Highly recommend the burnt ends cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts to start. All of our selections for the main dish were excellent with a lovely presentation. The Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was great, try it Laura’s way. Even the basics were done incredibly well from the BLT to the tomato bisque soup of the day. If you have room for dessert, get the donuts!

What a great place to have lunch with friends! The atmosphere and service was top notch. The Reuben sandwich was to die for. The sandwich was huge and I took half of it home to have for lunch the next day. We also got the chocolate decadence cake. It was amazing! I will definitely be back!!

I had a fantastic experience at the newly opened Kitchen and Rail. The aesthetic is intentional, warm, and beautifully executed. You can tell real creativity went into the space.
The service? Smooth, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Dedicated group!
And the Old Fashioned? A slow cocktail can quickly become a fast drink here. Crafted with care… finished with enthusiasm.

What a great addition to Golden Valley
Stopped by the bar on opening week, was mid busy, the bar has a great view of the kitchen and the cooks preparing food
I was excited to try their espresso martini as l’ve heard it’s pretty good but unfortunately they ran out of cold foam and tried to substitute it with heavy cream- which was not good at all but the bartender was awesome and switched the drink out for a really tasty Cosmopolitan
The truffle fries were 10/10 they come with a bernaise sauce perfect appetizer
The happy hour menu looks great-all the staff we encountered were super friendly and I can’t wait to come back and try more items
As it was opening week they had run out of a few menu items but I’m sure in a month things will run better !

First visit to Kitchen and Rail in Golden Valley and what a transformation from the old Mort’s. The space is striking, casual, comfortable and a little swanky all at once. Great new spot for lunch, happy hour, dinner with friends or date night with my wife. They’ve also got a great restaurant in Eagan, but having this one closer to home is a big win. Really well done.

Kitchen and Rail is an outstanding addition to Golden Valley! Amazing food, like the Joe Mac Burger and the MORT, coupled with friendly service. I’ve been enjoying the Eagan location since they opened and am glad to now have another Kitchen and Rail open on the other side of town. I should also point out that Victor, one of the owners, makes regular rounds to get to know visitors at the restaurant which is a nice, personal touch. Check out lunch or dinner and enjoy! Highly recommended!
