Me and my fiancé have eaten here one other time and it was good. We were so excited as it’s so close to our house and we wouldn’t need to travel so far for sushi. Ordered takeout again today and got the same items as last time. I got the hurricane specialty roll that is supposed to contain spicy tuna. After eating the first one it was SO fishy. Yes I know it’s sushi but you can tell when something’s off. It also did not taste this bad when I first ordered them. Had my fiancé try without even saying anything and he spit it out saying it was horrible. Upon opening the roll, the tuna was BROWN and if you’ve ever had it before it’s supposed to be an orange/pink color. Never ever have I had this happen. I now feel sick and am so upset as I really liked this place the first time and made sure to tip for their service. Sadly we won’t be back. I give it two stars as my miso soup and salad was okay.

Kiso Sushi Hibachi is a Japanese restaurant located next to Publix. When we walked in to pick up our lunch, the decor was very cute. Was clean, and had nice theming around it. It was very easy to order online, and the service was very friendly as well in the store.
Moving on to the food. It was very good! The chicken rice was very soft and scrumptious, very easy to eat. The appetizers were good, and the sushi was sticky, and easy to eat. The spicy salmon roll had a lot of flavor, like all the other items on the menu. Overall, would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Fantastic sushi and hibachi restaurant. My wife didn’t care for the ginger salad dressing but I enjoyed it personally. Ordering soda or alcohol would be a mistake here as the sweetened green tea is to die for! If you like sushi they can create just about anything you’re looking for, but if you want something besides your options be limited.

Great Japanese food. Love the veggie fried rice. Its about 3 meals in 1. The sushi is also great. Only tried the Mexican roll so far but quality ingredients and tastes perfect. The yum yum sauce is addictive. $0.50 for 1 small container though. Def need that to get the most of the flavors. The chicken hibachi is okay. The chicken tastes rubbery but Im more of a vegetarian eater so thats prob why I dont like it but again the hibachi veggies are delicious, perfect and saucey. This is our go to place every night almost.

There was a WASP in my togo order and when I called to ask for my money back I was argued with and hung up on. Horrible customer service and 0 accountability. I said multiple times over the phone there is a BUG in my food and she clearly understood me and asked if I wanted a new order of Crab Rangoon after I explained the bug was DEAD AND DEEP FRIED IN MY FOOD! I asked for a full refund and she argued with me about it and decided to hang up on me. So I went to the restaurant and as soon as I walked in the husband and wife both ran to the counter and asked to see my food before I even said anything. They examined the food and asked again if I wanted a new order which I kindly said no I wanted a full refund and I’m not eating any of the food in my order which was all brought back untouched (besides the Rangoon since that was our appetizer we started to eat before we noticed the wasp). The wife was very upset to refund me and told me it was their supplier that brought the food in like that and not the restaurants fault. Ma’am, I don’t care how a bug got in my food, your establishment sold me food like this and when I asked her why she hung up on me she said “my manager told me to”. That’s not how you handle business or treat a customer. I never once cursed, raised my voice on the phone or at the restaurant, nor did I say anything to a customer or by stander. I didn’t want to leave a review like this but this was HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER eat here again. Photos attached of the food and my receipt as well as the call log of when I placed my order over the phone and when I called about the bug. Location, dates, and time match receipt.

Kiso Sushi Hibachi in Tampa blew me away! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made, and the tempura shrimp was perfectly crispy and delicious. Great service and a warm, inviting atmosphere — definitely a five-star experience!
