5 stars all around. This place has a laid back, small town atmosphere. Bar tender on Wednesday evenings is sweet. They have good drinks and food and the music is relevant. Pool and karaoke are a plus!

Best price breakfast in Vancouver. The catch is they don’t open until 9am. Kirkpatrick’s has 6 different breakfast specials that are just $8 each. Coffee is $3.25. Together it’s just $11.25 total. The bacon and eggs are good. The over easy eggs were spot on. They give you three good size pieces of bacon. Be sure to tell them how you like the bacon cooked. The toast is garden variety, white toast. The coffee is ok. The chicken fried steak is about as good as it gets. The French toast looks great. VIBE: I not a fan of the obligatory TVs and loud volume at sports bars. But the TVs at Kirkpatrick’s aren’t obnoxious and the volume is off at 9:30am. You can talk comfortably. The bar has a half dozen beers on tap and a few token wines. No craft cocktails here. Just one sweet vermouth (Martini & Rossi) and it’s not refrigerated. But they’re well equipped for pedestrian cocktails. The proprietor, Kevin is very friendly and takes pride in his work. Very quick service.
People inside the bar are very polite and friendly.
Atmosphere vibes are very cozy.
Prices compared with the service is pretty good. The only thing is the food (needs more flavor/ spices).

This place is okayish but I keep trying to friend the bartenders on social media but they don’t respond and that really hurts me. Like I thought we were friends in real life and there’s only a 30 year age gap so it should all be good right? My granddaughter is about the same age and she has close relations with older men all the time. I just don’t understand.

Oh man. Gone are the days of my beloved “Outta Bounds,” and now in it’s place we have this. This atrocious bar now takes over my little corner neighborhood bar, and comes in flashy. They’ve expanded the entire place and that just left more room for more lights, MORE REALLY DRUNK PEOPLE (more than Outta? Yes, more than Outta), and more loud music. When I went in it was set up like a club? I thought I was going crazy but it had been years. We’re running out of little neighborhood bars man, this just doesn’t fit in. Oh, AND the bartenders must have walked past us like five or six times while she saw us standing there. No one was waiting for ANYTHING. Sorry about your 20% tip. You could have been my next favorite bartender.

I went to Kirkpatricks Sunday night, the bar wasn’t busy and I stood up
At the bar waiting to put a drink order in, a both bar tenders didn’t make an effort to speak to me. They were visiting instead of focusing on the bar. I ordered my drink and the bartender was very rude and was not restpectful what so ever, after our drinks I take the glasses to the bar top an the bar tender glairs at me an just dumps out the ice of the glasses an keeps visiting with the other guest. I will not be going back to this bar the professionalism is lacking with the staff.

It’s like a bar. I didn’t try the food just a tap beer. it was nice and cold. They have friendly efficient help. 5/2025- been going there regularly now for their BREAKFAST!
