I came here 2 weeks ago and got to go food. I ordered filet/shrimp with extra filet, double salads instead of soup. Everything was ok EXCEPT my filet was way overcooked. Now, I’ve been getting food from Kirin House for maybe 10yrs and tbh they’ve NEVER messed my food up. As an ex GM of restaurants I’m never the guy to take food back or call, I just don’t go back if they mess up again. BUT, I paid great $ for my food that Fri night and I was pretty bummed. So, I call and get to talk to a very nice woman named Sue(maybe Su, sorry if I mess your name up❤️). She totally understood my frustration and said to come back any day and she’d make it up to me. The following Fri, I go back and asked for her. She gave me the exact meal and the filet was cooked rare and PERFECTLY!!!!! So, bottom line is for 9yrs they’ve cooked me amazing food and the one time they weren’t perfect they made it right just like managers and restaurants should. Thank you Kirin and a HUGE thank you to Sue in a time where customer service is a lost art. The pics are of the overcooked filet, the perfectly cooked filet didn’t stand a chance of lasting long enough for a picture. Lol!

Kirin House Japanese Steak House and Hibachi was a fantastic lunch experience. We went on New Year’s Eve and were immediately seated, which was a great start. Service was prompt from the moment we sat down, and everything moved smoothly and efficiently.

The lunch menu is an excellent value for the amount of food you receive. While the chefs move a bit faster during lunch and don’t do as many of the theatrical culinary tricks, our chef was very kind, friendly, and interactive with everyone at the table, which made the experience enjoyable.

My wife and I both ordered the filet mignon and chicken, and it was easily a dinner-sized portion for lunch. The steak was incredibly tender and velvety, cooked perfectly, and the bacon fried rice was a standout—packed with flavor and easily one of the highlights of the meal.

We left full, happy, and definitely ready for a nice afternoon nap. Overall, it was a great value, great food, and great service. We will absolutely be back.

Great Hibachi spot in the Lawrenceville area!
The food was delicious, and we had such a fun time with our server. The sushi was fresh and plentiful, and the chicken and shrimp hibachi tasted amazing .

Fantastic dinner to finish the weekend. The highlight was definitely the Hamachi Jalapeno. The fish was fresh and the ponzu sauce added a nice sweetness, and the jalapeno had enough kick to balance out the fattiness of hamachi. For hibachi, we had the scallops, shrimp, and chicken, and I have to say, the scallops were so tender—highly recommend them. Chicken and shrimp was all cooked to our liking as well.

For us, hibachi chef makes it or break it for us whenever we go to hibachi restaueants, but the chef we had was great. He put on a great show and all the food was seasoned perfectly. The servers were also sweet and attentive.

We were in a mood for sake and I’m not a fan of sweeter sake. The server recommended Otokoyama from the list they had and it was exactly what we were looking for.

Just had an amazing meal at Kirin House Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar! The Kirin Stick was creamy and delicious, and the Crazy Jalapeño was surprisingly unique. Our sushi rolls—Crab Love, Dynamite, OMG, and Volcano—were fresh and packed with flavor. The hibachi was a standout: tender NY strip, melt-in-your-mouth scallops, and jumbo shrimp. Also discovered some hidden gems on the menu like the Steak and Salmon Futomaki, which were amazing! Great food, friendly vibe, and I can’t wait to come back.

Under the new management, I recently visited Kirin House and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a clean interior that made for a comfortable dining setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
As for the food—absolutely delicious! I ordered the Dynamite and Hawaiian rolls and the flavors just explodes in your mouth. It’s absolutely so good. The flavors were well-balanced, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. The hibachi was also a standout and so much fun. Filet mignon was cooked to a perfection, just melts in your mouth. The shrimp and scallops, highly recommend. Everything was so fresh!
Prices were reasonable for the quality, and the portion sizes were generous. I definitely left full and satisfied.
I would highly recommend Kirin House. Great for small and large groups.

I’ve always been a fan of hibachi, and I was considering visiting this place. However, some past reviews about hygienic concerns made me hesitant. Recently, I heard that the ownership had changed, so I decided to give it a try today.
The restaurant has two sections: a regular dining area and a hibachi grill area. My friends and I chose the dining area because we wanted to enjoy some sushi rolls along with our hibachi dishes.
To my relief, everything exceeded my expectations, cleanliness, service, food, and ambiance were all perfect. I also noticed that the restaurant has a lot of loyal customers, which speaks to its quality. They offer a great selection of beer, sake, and wine, making for an even better dining experience.
Overall, we had a fantastic time with delicious food at reasonable prices and excellent service. I will definitely be back, and next time, I’d love to try the hibachi grill experience. Highly recommended hibachi spot in Georgia!

This is one of my favorite restaurants.
The hibachi beef is so tender and delicious. I especially love the complimentary salad—it’s the best!
I also tried a new menu item, and the Korean-style galbi seasoning and creamy corn cheese were amazing.
