We came here with our kids and everyone loved their food. The hatch green chili burger tasted like a filet burger and the Santa Fe Chicken enchiladas (sub red sauce for green chili sauce) were incredible. We split them both and everyone in our party said it may have been the best burger and enchiladas we’ve ever had. The kids loved the chicken nuggets and steak quesadillas! All in all – so good and we will come back!

Stopped at Kips on a Saturday in June & we were seated right away & the food came super quickly which was awesome. Amongst our group, we tried the KG Favorite Pilewski Enchilada dish (the best bite I had), the fried shrimp taco special & kids’ Mac/cheese. Loved that they had a sauce & fixings bar where you could dress up your dish how you like. While the booth seat we sat in may have been half duck tape, it fit KG’s quirky mountain town vibe. They also had live music on the patio that is nice!

Decent restaurant. We haven’t tried anything else in the town so I’m not sure how it would compare. Interesting vibe, food was very mediocre. Everything was served in plastic or paper serve-ware! They were accommodating with nut allergies.

Love the atmosphere – very inviting and open! Very friendly wait staff and clean place. Interesting selection of tacos, burgers, and drinks. However, unfortunately, the burger and tacos we ordered had little flavor. The margarita was decent though and we really like their salsa – the shredded tomatoes were something we hadn’t seen before and the flavor was good!

When I say this food was banging. I mean it! We stopped in for the thanksgiving dinner. It was better than my N-laws Thanksgiving the last 3 years. And the bottomless sides had whooped. I also had a prickly pear and blueberry lavender marg that smacked. We’re making this our annual thanksgiving ritual. 1000% recommend to anyone out here skiing or passing through!

The place was pretty cool, they definitely have a monopoly not only can you get lunch you can do your laundry and wash your car. Laundry was 350 per load a little higher than normal, but your laundry soap was included. The washing machines were very old and two were out of service. My truck was very dusty from road and for two dollars. I could only get around a third of my truck before it kicked off and I don’t drive a semi either. My wife and I split Roberto’s special The meal did not come with chips or salsa. However, they had a salsa bar.

Excellent lunch at this casual cafe in Creede. Perfect grilled chicken sandwich, the best fries we’ve had in eons, and just-spicy-enough posole filled with hominy, bits of cabbage, smooth broth, and slices of avocado and jalapeno. Lunch for two with big servings of everything was $33. Great service from server Nathaniel, too. We’ll be back!

We did not have a good experience at the Kip’s location in Creede. We ordered the queso and chips, steak burrito, and sunrise bowl. The queso was lukewarm and the chips stale and chewy. My husband’s burrito had unmelted American cheese in it. When pulled apart, it looked like cut up Kraft singles. Come on! However, my sunrise bowl was served hot and tasted fine. For what turned out to be an $80 meal, I was very disappointed.
I gave an additional star because our server was very nice and checked on us often.
