I’ve been here many times, both dine-in and take out. Every time, I get the vegetarian combo plate, and everything is always fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Service has always been quick and polite. Highly recommend!

This is one of the spots that my daughter always wants to go to whenever we visit Kansas City. Every time we’ve gone, the service has been good, the food has been delicious, and we always leave satisfied. The baba ghanoush and lentil soup are amazing and for picky eaters like our daughter, they have a kind of cheese pizza that she just loves. My husband always gets the biryani rice and it is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good meal in a nice quiet atmosphere.

I used to go here more often but my last dine in experience was very oily Gyros that showed to be shaved on their pictures but was more like a burger patty. I had asked if it was homemade before ordering and was told yes… that is definitely not the case and it did not taste good at all. Will not go back unfortunately

The gyro and shawarma entrees and sandwiches are consistently delicious! Their hummus is possibly my favorite in the KC metro! I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere when I dine in the restaurant and am always treated with kindness.

The most important thing is the food and, sadly, there are just a lot better places.
The baba g is recognizable from what you’d find other places, and not in a good way. I stopped eating about partway through. It was not enjoyable. It’s pictured last. Overly sweet, odd flavors. Not good.

The hummus was very bland, soupy, and also not enjoyable. First picture.

The gyro sandwich was not great. It was, at best, average.

The pita bread? Hard. Like when you let your pita bread expire and then try to toast it to save it. You can see the crust.

$44 for two adults with both an appetizer and desert included? That’s hard to beat these days!

We’ve come here several times now, and we’re always so excited to come back. I LOVE their Lamb Biryani in particular, it’s so nice to have restaurants in town that don’t shy away from spice!

You don’t come here for the atmosphere, but the food is fantastic. Had the lentil soup and it brought me back to my best friends Moroccan mother making soup for us when we were 6 years old. Felt very authentic. And the food came out pretty quickly. Friendly server as well.

Came in today just on a whim. I’ve had Mediterranean but it’s not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.

I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.

Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I’ve had in the past. I also can’t be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn’t seem fresh off the wheel like I’ve had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.

I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I’d order the assortment again, but I’d say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared.

Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an “order at the counter and eat at the table” sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight.

If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely stop in again. Happy and well fed

Delicious thicker cut pieces of meat with the Greek salad. Lentil soup was okay but the baba ganouj made up for it times 10! Deelish!!!
