This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I had the tenderloin biscuit. The biscuit was handed to me in its wrapper. Not sure what I expected, but I didn’t get a plate, tray or bag. The biscuit was huge and tasted good. I had ice water. I asked for a lid for the Styrofoam cup that I never received. The waitress never refilled my drink, but she did get busy with a crowd shortly after we seated ourselves.
My guest had a breakfast plate with sausage. His food was good. It was served on a paper plate with plastic utensils. He ordered coffee and it was served in a Styrofoam cup instead of a mug.
The meal cost just a little more than what we normally pay for a comparable meal elsewhere. The booths were made for average sized people, but they do have tables if you need the extra room. The tables have the small metal chairs at them. Our waitress spilled a full glass of water at a nearby table. One of those customers cleaned up the table and floor before the waitress got back with a towel to clean it up.
It’s unlikely that I’d go out of my way to visit this restaurant again, but it did seem very popular with the locals.

I love these folks first of all. Secondly, I now live in Winston Salem but still stop in to visit and pick up some of their amazing food for myself and my Service Dog Trinity. Ben is and always has been an amazing human being and I am proud to have been a part of his younger life. I promise you all that these people are rocking it for having only been open 8 or 9 months.

Stopped in with my daughter around 2:30 to get the bbq for 4. They were out of barbecue and the manager said she didn’t even have anymore in the back. The staff were super friendly, but how are you out of bbq and you are a bbq restaurant?
I should mention this is only my second time visiting this location— the first time they were out of biscuits during breakfast.

Ran across this place looking for BBQ leaving the Grandover Resort after an awesome weekend. Kinda random stop for B BQ and we were hungry; and to our surprise they were still serving breakfast and I decided to get a biscuit OMG the biscuit was a homemade piece of heaven on earth with butter and the biggest oversized rectangle shape bursting with goodness!!!! Go, get you one. The BBQ deserves a Gold Medal. I have decided that Kings Restaurant has a new customer for life!!!!

My family has been here multiple times now and we’ve tried a little bit of everything. All of the food is DELICIOUS and fresh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owner is so down to earth and kind. Highly recommend. I heard they just bought a food truck and also participate in catering events.

Got breakfast on the way to work this morning- SEC biscuit & a large Dr. Pepper. I have never been through a drive thru, had my order made to perfection, and been back on the road like I never left with a smile on my face and a biscuit the size of my head in a bag so quickly & effortlessly. These chain corporations need to take note because this is how you run a drive thru and that is how you make a biscuit. And for $8ish? That is a deal I will be back for!

It’s always great to have people know exactly what you’re going to order when you walk in. Now days most people don’t pay attention to their customers but the guys and girls here do and it’s just another reason I’ll keep going back! Great job y’all
